Chapter Forty-Seven

Third Person

Anastasia woke up with the biggest headache she's ever had.

She groaned as she sat up, feeling a small pain on her arm, Annie looked at it seeing a very large purple and red bruise on it where Leo grabbed her.

How lovely.

Anastasia got off the sofa and headed for Alya's room, she needed some clothes to get changed into as she was still in her dress from last night.

She walked in and saw Nino and Alya wrapped in each others arms, still asleep, she smiled at them and crept into the room and took a oversized white shirt and headed for the bathroom.

Anastasia took her dress off and slipped the shirt on, she looked into the mirror above the sink, god she looked rough.

She splashed her face with some cold water and dried it off before returning back to the sofa.

She picked her phone up and looked at the time which read 11:58am. She couldn't fall back asleep so she just scrolled on her phone.

Not longer after, Adrien woke up and turned to give Anastasia a smile.

"Morning"

"Well, it's more afternoon but" She giggled.

"Whatever" He mumbled, closing his eyes just to open them just as fast.

Adrien sat up and gently took her arm, "What the fuck is this?"

"It's uh, from last night" Anastasia slowly answered.

Adrien clenched his teeth, "If I see that guy anywhere I swear I'll kill him"

"Does it hurt?" He asked, inspecting it.

"A bit, but it's fine, it'll go away in a few days" She grinned.

He gave her a worried smile and stroked her cheek.

God she really did love this boy.

All of the sudden a loud bang caused them both to turn our heads to the other side of the sofa where Marinette had turned over and fell off the sofa.

"Ow" She muttered.

Just then Alya and Nino came out her room, "What the fuck was that?" Alya asked while rubbing her eyes.

Anastasia laughed at the girl.

"Mari are you okay?" Luka asked as he rushed over to help her up.

"Fine" She groaned, rubbing her head.

They soon all got up and had some breakfast then all just chilled in Alya's living room.

Soon, it was time for Anastasia and Adrien to go so they said our goodbyes to their friends and left.

While the two were in the car, Anastasia spotted an akumatised person head straight for the road they were on and caused a mini earthquake which then caused all the cars in front of them and theirs to flip.

Adrien immediately grabbed for Annie to try and protect her from any impact. The car door flew open as it fell and the last thing Anastasia remembered was hitting her head on the concrete.

She woke up with her head pounding, there were screaming people everywhere and damage from the villain was everywhere.

She put her hand up to her head and looked at it and saw blood, how brilliant.

Annie slowly sat up and looked around, she saw Adrien passed out on the ground next to her and immediately rushed over to him.

"Adrien! Adrien, please wake up" She spoke while slightly shaking him.

She checked his pulse and sighed in relief, he wasn't dead.

Adrien opened his eyes slowly and turned them to her, "Annie? Are you okay?" He asked while looking at the girls head.

"Yeah I'm okay, are you?" Anastasia asked while helping him up.

"Yeah I think so" He answered.

Anastasia needed to transform, this can't go on for longer. She looked at their now upside down car with their belongings on the road. She grabbed her bag and turned back to Adrien.

"Get to safety, I'll uh-get help" He spoke.

She was about to protest but she did need a way to get away from him to transform.

Annie nodded and went to a nearby alleyway.

She opened my bag, "Tala? Are you good?"

No response.

"Tala?" I asked again while looking through my bag, she wasn't there.

She must've fell out when the car fell.

Annie ran back to the car and found Tala inside of it on the ground.

"Tala! Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, just laid here pretending to be a squishy while you came to find me" She giggled.

"Of course" She picked her up and placed her back in the bag, She got up to go back to that alleyway but just then Annie saw the building next to her starting to fall, towards her.

I'm gonna fucking die were her exact thoughts.

Anastasia closed her eyes, preparing herself for literal death, just when she felt arms wrap around her.

She opened them and saw none other than Chat Noir looking down at her.

He placed Annie down onto her feet when she turned around and saw the building collapse to the ground.

"Are you okay?" He asked her.

"Yeah I am, if it weren't for you I'd be under that, thank you Chat Noir" Annie smiled gratefully at him.

"Your welcome Anastasia-" He started before being cut off.

"Come on Chat! Stop flirting and help me!" Ladybug shouted as she swung past.

"I better get going, you get somewhere safe, okay?" Chat said.

"Yeah I will, thanks" She replied.

Anastasia couldn't help but think how much Chat Noir reminded her of Adrien just then, how gentle he was with her-

She quickly snapped herself out of her thoughts, she needed to go to transform.
