Chapter Sixty

Third Person

A good twenty minutes went by and the heroes were still fighting Kagami. They had never seen a villain so powerful before, she must've had a lot of emotion built up inside her, this made Anastasia feel worse.

Ladybug still hadn't used her lucky charm on Riposte, she hadn't a clue on what to do with it.

"Focus Ladybug, you need more than your lucky charm to defeat the villain, not the object itself, you can do this okay?" Louve said to the spotted heroine.

Ladybug took in a deep breath and looked around.

"I got it! Louve Blanc, use your power and try get the swords of off her, it will be easier for us if she has no weapon to attack us with, Chat Noir, use your cataclysm to destroy the ground beneath her to get her stuck then I'll use my lucky charm" She finished.

"Got it"

"Invisibility" Louve activated her power.

She pressed her necklace and turned invisible. Louve started to make her way towards Riposte, careful to not make any noise so she doesn't think something is up.

While Louve Blanc was doing that, Chat Noir and Ladybug were hiding behind Riposte waiting for Louve to get the swords. Just then Riposte heard Ladybugs earrings beep which caused her to turn around quickly.

"Fuck"

Louve Blanc had managed to take one of her swords before Riposte noticed Chat and LB.

Louve Blanc realised this so she kicked a small stone at her so she wouldn't go after her friends.

The two got away and hid by the eiffel tower managing to not by seen by the villain.

While Louve Blanc was tiptoeing around Riposte to get the second sword, she didn't realise when she kicked the stone, Riposte noticed her.

As Louve was about to grab the sword, Riposte grabbed it from her back and spun with the sword in the air which immediately stabbed into Louve Blanc's stomach.

It all happened so fast she didn't even know what was going on. Louve fell onto her back with the sword inside of her and screamed in pain.

Chat nor Ladybug could see her as she was still invisible thanks to her power.

They just assumed she got the swords off her and carried on with the plan, they didn't know where Louve had disappeared to but right now they were more focused on Riposte.

After Chat Noir cataclysmed the ground beneath her, she used her freakishly strong arms to push him back which caused him to fly backwards and hit his head on the concrete.

Ladybug watched it happen, she quickly used her lucky charm to grab the ring off Ripostes hand and crush it.

Kagami transformed back into her normal self and Ladybug captured the akuma before rushing over to Chat who was laying on the ground, passed out.

"Chat wake up! Louve! Where are you?!" Ladybug shouted looking around for her second partner.

Chat Noir then slowly opened his eyes and sat up, looking around.

"What-" His eyes landed on Louve Blanc, who was now detransformed and on the ground with the sword on her stomach, bleeding everywhere.

"ANNIE!" Chat Noir ran up to her so fast and knelt down at her side.

"A-adrien" She started to cough up blood, "I love you, always remember that" Anastasia coughed even more and winced at the pain in her stomach.

She tried to smile at the boy she loved so much and closed her eyes. She tried to fight but it was too much, there was too much blood.

"W-what..? Annie?" Ladybug looked terrified that her best friend was Louve Blanc, bleeding out.

"No Annie, I beg you wake up.." Chat Noir now detransformed as well and was crying.

Adrien stroked her cheek, "Annie, I remember now, I remember you" He sobbed.

Ladybug's hand went over her mouth as she and rushed over to the two.

Adrien pressed his two fingers up to Anastasia's neck to check her pulse, he was now visible shaking.

"No, wake up Annie, please, I promise I won't forget you again, just-just come on get up, we can restart this whole thing" Adrien refused to believe she was gone, the one person he truly loved, was gone.

He turned to Ladybug who was also crying at the sight, "You're miraculous ladybugs! They'll save her, hurry"

They both had hope that this would work but as she called them out and everything went back to normal, Anastasia didn't.

Just then, Ladybug transformed back to herself.

"Why is it not working Marinette? It should've worked"

"I don't know Adrien, I have no idea why it's not working!"

Adrien moved the hair from Anastasia's face, and looked at her once more.

"I love you too, so much" Adrien turned to Marinette and hugged her tight.

"I'm so sorry Adrien" She whispered through her tears.
