I picked up the colored pens and new sketch pad and put it in my basket. Ang sabi ni Lili ay bibili lang kami ng mga kailangan for our duo project but here I am choosing more than what we need to use. Okay lang naman siguro ito, since I didn't buy new sets of art materials for the past months. Atsaka, all of these things right now make my eyes sparkle. If I could be In love with brushes and colors ginawa ko na.

"Kira?"

Napatingin ako sa tumawag ng pangalan ko and I was a bit shocked to see Irene from my class standing right beside me. I gave him a small smile, my eyes scanned the place but I didn't see Lili. I need her, It made me awkward being alone with Irene.

"Hi!" At least I managed to speak. "You're here too. Who's with you?"

"Classmates natin." She answered and glanced at my basket. "For our project?"

I nodded. "Yeah, you're buying too?"

She nodded back.

This is awkward.

Nginitian ko siya. Picking another set of colored pens and brushes and ready to find where the hell is Lili when Irene held my arm.

"Ah, Kira." Irene pursed her lips, I glanced at her hand that was holding my arm and stared at her eyes after and knew that she was looking back at me now. It feels like she's estimating my reaction. "About, Jasper..."

I knew it.

"What about it?" I asked calmly.

"Do you like him?"

I nodded. She sighed and let go of my arm. Humarap siya sa mga shelves kung saan nakalagay ang mga materials.

Her eyes lingered on the pen she was holding before she turned her attention to me. "and I want us to be okay again, Kira. I know you two are hanging out right now."

"So what do you want me to do?" I asked her directly. Ano ba ang dapat kung gawin? Give way like I always do? Am I going to be a second lead again in another story? It's not been a month since my ex got married. Now I'm having this situation again.

"I'm sorry." she told me and sighed. "I just want you to know that we really like each other a lot. Sorry kasi nadamay ka pa."

I didn't understand her words but it stuck in me. So ano nga? They already kissed and made up? I admit that when I'm hanging out with Jasper It didn't feel like he was a hundred percent into me but he was fun to be with. Kaya at the end of the day nag eenjoy din naman ako.

"Huy, you're spacing out! Are you still thinking about what Irene said to you?" Lili asked me while sipping on her choco shake. We hang out inside the coffee shop after we bought our materials. We still have half an hour before the classes start. "Did you message, Jasper?"

I shook my head and took a bite on my flat bread. "What will I say to him anyway? 'uy hey! your girl Irene talked to me and she still likes you!' Ganoon?"
