"Sit here, I'll just change. Wait for me here."

Quen smiled at me after he placed a white towel on the bench and double check it if its clean before he gestured me to sit down.

I nodded like a little kid and smiled back. I'm kind of conscious of how his team mates stare at me after we arrive. Some of them tease him but he just gives them a smirk and ignores what they are saying.

He told me that I don't need to worry because his team won't say anything and they already know me but I couldn't help myself but to overthink again. My gaze was scanning the place, checking if someone we knew were here also.

I know that I'm just overreacting because everyone knew that I'm one of Quen's friend.

Pero sino ba naman ang kaibigan na isasama dito na mag isa lang?

ng weekends?

na kung makadikit si Quen parang ayaw akong bitawan.

"Hey..." I glance up when Quen poke my cheeks. Hindi pa pala siya umaalis.

"I thought you're going to change?" I followed his movement when he sat up in front of me and touched my knee.

"You're worried?"

I honestly nod, responding to his question.

He smiled again and held my hand.

"Easy." he looked at his back where his team mates started to warm up. "We aren't doing anything wrong. I invite you here to watch my game."

I sighed. "Yeah...sige na, go change your clothes. You still need to warm up, right?"

He nodded, smile still didn't fade when he put his hand on top of my head. "Watch me play."

I rolled my eyes, making him laugh. He stood up and left me sitting on the bench. Actually, I'm not the only audience here. I have no idea who they're going to play with but I think people right here now are those who are invited by the players.

May nakita rin ako na patingin-tingin sa gawi ko. I don't have someone beside me so I'm pretty sure that she was looking at me. I think she's a girlfriend of one of the players too.

I darted back my attention to the court when Quen came back already wearing his jersey, knee support and basketball shoes.

I'm not sure if this is because there's something going on between us but looking at him now...

He looks handsome.

and cool.

Hindi naman ako ganito dati, I'm not even affected every time I see him but everything's different now.

All he just did was smile at me and my heart was already in chaos.

He showed me a thumbs up to ask me if I'm alright. Pang-ilang beses niya na ba sakin 'to tinatanong mula ng magkita kami kanina. I know he's worried to because I was too conscious about us.

I showed him a small smile and nod for an answer. He ran to his team mates after that, I saw how they kept on teasing him, tumitingin pa sila sa gawi ko minsan and I couldn't help myself but to laugh.
