"I told you, I'm not mad at you."

I answered Quen with a calm voice while doing my skincare in front of my vanity mirror doing our casual video call every night.

"Then why did you leave me earlier?" He sighed, making me glance at him. He was leaning on the kitchen top holding a glass of whiskey drinking alone in his unit. I think he was editing photos of the photoshoot that they did earlier. "I told you I want to have dinner with you."

"You have not touched me since I entered the room." I said calmly with full of conviction to emphasize the word I was telling him repeatedly. "But I'm not mad."

"Upset?" He chuckles and drinks on his glass. "You know what I was doing right? I was focused."

"Then I let you focus until the pageant was done." I Put some night cream on my cheeks, spreading it lightly. I know Quen was staring at what I was doing.

"Babe..."

"What?" I laugh softly and fix my night silk dress. "What do you want?"

"Your attention." he muttered and moved his phone and poured a liquor again in his glass. "Stop having an attitude."

I scoffed. "I'm not giving you an attitude."

"You are, baby."

"I'm not."

"Then can I have a kiss tomorrow?" his eyes were waiting when I didn't answer, brushing my hair gently while staring at my reflection in the mirror.

I smile sweetly.

"No, you can't."

"See? Attitude." he shook his head and typed something on his laptop. "Can I pick you up tomorrow morning?"

"You can." placing the hair brush I use on my mini basket and spray some perfume on me. "Please drive me to school tomorrow."

"Whatever you are doing right now..." he leaned closer to the phone. "It's effective."

"What? You miss me?"

"I always miss you."

Arching an eyebrow at him before standing up and taking my phone with me towards my huge bed.

"I'm going to sleep." telling him to lay my body sideways and put my phone on the side leaning on the small pillow, So Quen could still see me.

"Please don't turn it off."

"Of course." giving him a small smile and covering my body with my comforter. I yawned. "Good night, Quen."

"Good night baby." he smiled back and moved closer to the phone, probably giving me a phone kiss.

"I told you no kissing." I frowned and moved my face to the phone.

"Sleep kj."

Morning after, and like what we just talked about last night, Quen picked me up early in the morning. He needs to submit the final edits of the photos and the pageant will happen in two days.
