Nervous.

That's what I felt right now. Sounds so pathetic but can you blame me? Quen will make me attend his grandparents wedding anniversary! Sana okay lang siya 'no? I'm very sure his family would be very confused once they saw me.

"Are you fine now?"

Napatingin ako sa gawi ni Quen ng magsalita siya, rinig ko ang himig ng pangaasar sa boses niya. We're are still both inside his BMW. It's been half an hour since we arrived at the venue where the event is.

"Sure ka na pwede akong pumunta dyan?" Tanong ko ulit. Hindi ko na nga alam kung pang ilan na ito.

Quen chuckled and rolled his eyes. Leaning his back on the car's window and looking at me with his finger on his lips.

"You're fine looking. Hindi ka naman mukhang party crasher." he shook his head. "I told you. You're my date today."

I heaved a deep sigh.

"You should bring someone you flirt with here." I muttered.

"Why would I?" arching his brow. "Come on, Kj."

I followed his movement when he opened the door and walked outside. He was fixing his coat while walking until he reached my door and opened it for me.

"Shall we?" offering his hand to me.

I placed my hand over his and nodded. Quen squeezed my hand before holding it. I just let him be. He's the only person I knew in this place who might as well just go along with him.

Pagbaba ko pa lang ng sasakyan ay rinig ko na ang ingay. The sound was so loud and some of the visitors were going in out of the place.

It was a private place. Kagaya ng private resort nila Quen kung saan kami nag overnight ay ganoon din ito. The different was it was a mansion where the party was happening.

"You're really rich." I commented while we were walking. Some visitors were looking at us, smiling and greeting Quen. Maybe they are confused about who I am.

"You're rich too." he fired back and pulled my hand a little when I stopped to stare at the big mansion. The whole place was screaming elegance. I just know that Quen came from an influential family but I didn't realize that this was the kind of life that he really has.

"Kuya!"

I stopped with my reverie when a young boy appeared. I blinked twice when I saw him running towards us and automatically hugged Quen. Didn't let go of my hand when he wrapped his other arm to his brother.

I felt like I was looking at little Quen. He was really like a younger version of him. I can't take my eyes off him. Magkapatid nga sila.

"I thought you're not going to come! Lola's looking for you!" the little boy pouted while talking to Quen. Lumingon ito sakin at agad ngumiti. "Oh! Hi! Are you Kuya's girlfriend? You're beautiful!"

I felt my cheeks heated.

I pursed my lips and shook my head. He creased his brow and darted his gaze to mine and his brother linked hands. I quickly pulled it away and hid it behind my back.
