"Oh, hi Kira! You're here too..."

Relax...don't panic.

Stay calm Kira Jill.

It was my mantra inside my head repeatedly while managing a casual and small smile to our friends who suddenly appeared in the middle of our make out session.

And I don't know what to feel about that.

I can still feel the sensation me and Quen had a while ago.

We didn't have enough time to think what to do and just decided to just act cool.

Even though it sounds so stupid but I hope they will believe our alibi as to why I was here.

The first plan was to hide inside the bedroom but Quen didn't want me to do that.

"Yeah, I drove the—-" my words were interrupted when Dave suddenly pointed a finger at Quen then looked at me wide-eyed.

"What the hell are you two doing here?! Don't tell me—ouch!"

I was nervous he was going to say something but Jack slapped his nape and narrowed his eyes at him.

"Dirty-minded! Didn't Kira borrowed Quen's car? She had a heartbreak before stop saying stupid things..." he leaned closer to Dave and whispers the last words thought that I didn't heard and look at me smiling. "Don't listen to this idiot Kira, he just had a few drinks that's why."

One thing about the boys is that they think I haven't moved on from the heart break months ago since I didn't allow myself to date anyone in front of their eyes.

Because normally by the time someone's leaving me, another man will pursue me.

Which is true.

But the thing is they didn't know that it was Quen.

And just inside our circle.

So they assumed that I was still hurt. That's what I thought.

"Then why didn't Quen open the door—Aray! Nakakarami ka na ah! Stop smacking me Jack!"

Dave was interrupted again when Jack smacked him when he accused Quen, who's too relaxed standing beside the sofa after he placed the beers that our friends brought. Mike was helping him, so quiet and not minding our conversation.

I envy Quen because he was not so obvious like me.

Parang wala lang sa kanya ang nangyari.

While I'm in the middle of my thoughts still thinking about our moment in his couch while being nervous about Dave's questions.

"I'm preparing food for Kj, can't you see? She drove my car back here. Why are you here anyway?"

I quietly cleared my throat when I heard the annoyance in Quen's voice.

"For beer? We texted you that Mike needed buddies tonight. Our boy is lonely."

Lonely?

I glance at Mike while consciously eating the steak that I didn't finish a while ago to look casual here sitting in front of the counter table.
