"Happy Birthday, babe ♡"

That's the only message I left for Quen at exactly midnight. He wants us to spend the whole day together for his birthday but I have other plans in mind as well. I want him to enjoy the day with the people he adores and loves.

Quen deserves that because he made me happy for the past weeks. This is one of my special gifts as his girlfriend.

Kung dati nga na wala pa kaming relasyon nagawa ko ng bigyan siya ng malaking surprise, what more if he's already the best boyfriend a woman could have.

He had no idea about what I'm going to do. He kept on messaging me since morning asking me where I am.

Again, he's being a baby. The birthday boy is being a baby today.

babe ♡: my parents want me to visit home this morning, i want you to come with me but you told me yesterday that you had an emergency meeting with a client. Can't you be with me today? :(

babe ♡: babe, on my way. Still don't want to go with me?

babe ♡: I know we're going to meet later but can't you change your mind?

babe ♡: it's my birthday

babe ♡: babe :(

babe ♡: i really hate driving alone

babe ♡: your last message was at midnight, are you still sleeping?

babe ♡: baby, it's my birthday :(

babe ♡: almost at my parents house

babe ♡: i'll send you photos with the foods my grandma will cook for me today and you're going to regret not coming with me

babe ♡: babeeee

I let out a giggle with his messages. Sometimes I can't believe that this side of him exists. He was kind of different when we are as friends than being with me in a relationship. Definitely, he's a baby locked inside of a grown up man.

He don't have any idea but one of my surprises was that I was already at his parents house last night. It was part of my plan to have a simple birthday celebration here with his family. I talked to her sister to help and they're all happy with this especially that It was his special day. Apart from them having a hard time seeing him during school days, Quen was very busy even with his supposed to be free days.

That's why I want him to spend at least half of the day with them.

"Now, I'm really sure why my brother was head over heels with you."

Diverting my gaze from my phone to Quen's sister when she spoke, eyes were teasing, staring at me.

"Hmm? He was telling you about me?" my brow creased. I wonder what he told her sister about me.

"You have mo idea, ate." she shook her head and linked her arms to me. "Quen, is crazy about you."

I laughed softly and started to walk inside their living room where we're going to surprise Quen when he arrived.

"Yeah, he already told me that."

"Kuya's a bit arrogant because he's smart but I might say he's a simp for you." she giggled. "Don't get shocked when he asks for your hand in no time."
