"Wow you did do all of this? Kira, this place was amazing...your works are amazing!"

I gave Kate a mischievous smile and nod before looking back at my new art room slash fashion room where I can make my works. Glad mom agreed about this. Hindi na 'rin naman ginagamit yung kwarto na ' to, might as well make this mine.

"I mean you finally did this! Just look at your works..." Kate blurted out again happily and hugged me sideways while her gaze still on my artworks and dress designs. I can't help it but to smile too, feeling so proud about what I've done.

Small steps.

I smiled to myself. I kind of listen to the people around me. Maybe I can really make good things, right? I can start here inside my own work room.

"I also made a site for my work..." I glanced at Kate, a shy smile appeared on my face. "and ready to accept if someone wants to request my designs..."

Kate's eyes widened and held my shoulders to make me look at her. "What?! Really? Oh my gosh I'm so proud of you, Kira!" she said, chuckling and hugging me.

I couldn't hide my happiness anymore and hugged her back. I'm happy that she was supportive of me.

"I know I didn't agree to make your wedding gown but can I make you your dress after the wedding? I'd be really happy if I could make you one as a gift..." I asked, feeling a little bit shy. I didn't know if Kate would like it but I want to do something for her since it's her wedding.

It would be a nice gift too.

"Kira, you're surprising me...of course you can make my dress! It's my pleasure to wear something that you made! I told you your designs are amazing, that's why I asked you to make my wedding dress!" Kate's eyes are twinkling with happiness. I clearly saw it.

And I think I was mirroring her reaction now.

"Sorry for declining that...but accept this as my apology. I'll make a pretty dress for you." I smiled and squeezed her hand.

She hugged me again and checked my work room after.

"I'll share a profile with people I know and I'm very sure that they would love your works too, Kira. This is a big step for you." Kate continued as she stared at some of my new sketch designs that were placed on my long white table.

"Thanks, Kate. It would really be a big help." I said smiling following where she walked.

"Have you told this to mom?" She asked and glanced at me.

I shook my head. "Not yet. I know she would just say that I was young for this and needed to focus on my school." chuckling, I handed her my portfolio. "You can choose your designs there or If you have in mind just tell me."

Kate just looked at it for quite a minute before giving it back to me. "I told you I love all your works so it's up to you what you will make for me. For sure I will love it."

Ngumit ako at nagkibit-balikat. "Okay."

Days passed so smoothly. I still continue my volunteer work for the upcoming univ week. One week nalang and we're already done. The filming for the documentary for what we are doing is almost done too. They are really good. Sobrang bilis nilang gumawa halos kasabay rin siguro bago matapos ang univ week.
