Chapter 4
I lost.
I seriously lost the Halo match to Wesley. And I didn't just lose the game, oh no, I lost our bet. Losing bets isn't something that happens often to me. The smirk on Wesley's face as he high fived his brother showed just how smug he was about this situation. When he turned to me I prepared my self for what ever he was going to say next and how he was going to say it.
“Looks like I won.” He said crossing his arms and sitting back, dropping the controller on the couch next to him. The corners of my mouth lifted up in a small smile.
“I let you win.” I teased. Everyone knew I was joking around. Honestly though I did try to win. It's not like we were try-hards anyways. The game was for fun and so was the added bet.
“Either way, the terms of the bet are still in play.” Wesley said.
“So what are you going to make her do?” Tori interjected sounding excited. “Make it good!”
“Haven't decided yet.” Wesley stated still looking at me. His eyes lingered on me for a but longer than needed before Drew spoke.
“I don't know about you guys but I'm hungry.” He said completely randomly.
“Me too.” Keaton said, grabbing more chips. “Our kitchen is almost empty.”
“You guys are such complainers.” Tori joked. “We can just order out.”
Everyone seemed pleased with the idea. The man beside me seemed to have other plans though.
“You guys can order out. Kim and I are gonna go grab something to eat.” I looked at him confused.
“We are?”
“Yup,” he said standing up holding out his hand. “Cashing in that bet.” I smiled up at him, taking his hand and standing up. Glancing over at Tori and Drew, they had a smirk on their face as they looked at each other. Keaton had a goofy smile instead. I on the other hand tried to hide the big smile that wanted to make it's way onto my face. Too bad I couldn't help the blush.
“See you guys later.” Wesley said, stilling holding my hand and leading me towards another part of the house I hadn't been to yet. He brought us to a door, where there were keys hanging near it. He grabbed one before opening the door.
Stepping inside I noticed it was a garage. Two cars were parked inside. A sleek pearl white 2013 Nissan Maxima and a black 2013 Acura MDX. Mentally I squealed at how amazing the cars were.
“The Nissan's mine. The Acura's Drew's.” Wesley explained as he walked over to his car, twirling the keys in his hands. He opened the passenger car door, nodding his head towards the black leather seats. I smiled and said a 'thank you' before I sat down. Having a man open a car door for me was always something I wanted to experience. It's just a plus that it Wesley to do it for me.
After closing my door the said man walked over and climbed into the drivers seat. Meanwhile I was checking out the amazing car. The interior was black, had a gps system, heated seats and so much freaking more!
Excitement washed over me and I'm sure Wesley noticed.
“Like the car?” He chuckled while fastening his seat belt.
“Hell yes!” I started, also fastening my seat belt, “I have a Nissan Maxima too except mine is a 2003. I love these 2013 ones though.” When I finished Wesley nodded his head turning on the engine. The sound it made was beautiful! Okay, okay, that's enough about the car.
