Chapter 6
That night I woke up before the sun was up. It took me a second to realize where I was before I felt something beneath my head move. Instantly my senses came back. What had stirred beneath me was Wesley. His arm was wrapped around my waist pulling me to lay almost on top of him with my arm slung around his midsection. I could hear the steady beating of his heart and I could feel the slight rise and fall of his chest.
The warmth my body wanted earlier that night was back and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying it. My mind told me to pull away but I couldn't figure a way to do so without waking him up since our legs were tangled together. Even so, I tried to move my left leg away but Wesley's arm around my waist tightened. I gave up at that point. If he woke up and saw us in a position like this I would stop breathing from embarrassment.
Relaxing, I gently placed my hand on his chest, snuggling up closer to him. I might as well enjoy this. Not too soon after I felt myself slipping back to sleep. Before I was completely out though I felt Wesley hold me a bit tighter then place his chin on top of my head. And I don't know but I could have sworn I felt him smile before I feel asleep again.

The next morning I woke up with out Wesley in bed with me. I remembered how we had slept last night and instantly wondered if he had woken up with us in that same position. If so, what went through his mind?
Sitting up I stretched my back and yawned. Pushing the covers a side I shivered at the intruding cold air that hit my body and left unwanted goosebumps. Walking out of Wesley's room I immediately went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. Looking in the mirror I thanked my hair for having the ability to look good naturally.
Exiting the bathroom I walked downstairs intent on finding Wesley. First, I checked the living room but he wasn't there. Next I checked the kitchen and sure enough there he was. I stopped at the door though when I saw his bare back. He was turned away from me so my presence went unnoticed as he worked on something on the kitchen counters. I couldn't help but stare at his back as the muscles rippled with each move he made. No matter how hard I tried to look away I couldn't. Why did he have to be so attractive?
Finally forcing my self to snap out of the trance, I walked towards him. With each step, I made sure to try and act completely normal.
“Morning.” I greeted as I leaned in between the area where two counters made a laying down 'L' shape so that I was facing Wesley. Said man looked up at me with a smile.”Morning Beautiful.”
My heart raced and my stomach flipped from those simple two words. The effect he had on me was surprising. Not knowing how to respond to that I watched as Wesley continued making what looked like an energy shake. -//
“So,” he started, “how did you sleep last night?” The feeling of Wesley's body against mine came back into my mind and I forced myself not to blush. Maybe he didn't know we cuddled last night.
“It was fine.” I replied trying to keep my voice even. Wesley's brown eyes flickered over to me before he let out a chuckle. He saw right through what I was trying to do and I knew for a fact that he had been awake last night when I had been too. I continued to play it off though.
In that moment my eyes had drifted lower to where Wesley's toned chest and abs were. Making sure he wasn't look at me I let my eyes linger a little longer than I should have. From the corner of my eyes I saw Wes turn his attention toward me as if he were ready to say something. My eyes had snapped back to meet his but it was too late. I was caught.
