Dahyun and I lay on our stomachs, our fingers intertwined as we soaked up the sun.

I instructed her to turn over, and we turned to lay on our backs once more.

As our fingers laced together once again, I could hear Tzuyu shouting from across the park, "Fucking kiss already!"

Glaring in her direction, I saw her, Sana, and Nayeon giggling like a group of middle schoolers.

I glanced toward Dahyun, noticing how her cheeks were bright red, but she kept her eyes closed. Probably out of embarrassment.

Deciding to lay back down, I closed my eyes to go back to our sun tanning.

"Chae?" Dahyun called in a soft tone, her voice shaky.

"Yeah?" Opening my eyes, I looked over to lock eyes with the brunette, adoring the way her eyes shone.

Biting her lip, she quietly stated, "I really like you."

She likes me? Me? She doesn't just think she does anymore? She's confident in her feelings? Me?

Her eyes showcased panic as I continued to stare back into them, not saying a word.

I soon broke into a smile, her facial features softening. "I like you, too, Dahyun."

Tzuyu shouted, once again, from across the park. "For fuck's sake, get together already!"

All of the members started cheering, some girls clapping in excitement.

Should I? What if she doesn't feel the same?

Fuck this, I gotta shoot my shot, right?

Looking back into Dahyun's eyes, I gulped before questioning, "Dahyun? Would you...Would you want to be my girlfriend?"

A huge smile broke onto her face, her eyes shining with excitement as she nodded, "Yes, absolutely."

The whole park erupted into cheering as the girls started rushing over to us.

Dahyun giggled as Tzuyu tackled her, laying on top of her as she congratulated us.

I smiled, processing what has just happened.

Did she really say yes?

Did I really allow myself to fall in love with her?

Looking around the group of girls, I noticed how Nayeon and Sana were standing in the back, their eyes focused on the fence line as they spoke.

Following their gaze, I couldn't see anything. But based on their faces, I could tell something was wrong.

Soon, Nayeon and Sana were going around, telling each of the girls to go ahead and head home.

As they both reached Dahyun, Tzuyu, and I, Nayeon had a sympathetic expression on her face.

"Sorry to ruin the celebration but we've got to go home now."

"Is everything alright?" Tzuyu pried, standing up to talk with the girls better.

Nayeon glanced behind Tzuyu to Dahyun and I before her eyes were back on her team member.

"We'll discuss it later. Let's all get home, yeah?"

We all nodded, gathering our stuff and changing into our clothes before beginning our journey home.

Nayeon and Tzuyu rode with Sana while Dahyun and I decided to take our time and walk back to The House.

Nayeon was against the idea but there also wasn't anyone left to give us a ride. So she accepted it.

"Call me if something happens, understand?" Nayeon demanded as she leaned in closer, trying to not let Dahyun hear her.

I nodded my head, "I'll keep us safe, Nayeon. We'll be home in a bit, we won't stray."

She nodded in approval before getting into the car, the trio driving off.

"What do you think is wrong?" Dahyun questioned in a soft voice, her baggy shirt looking absolutely adorable on her small frame.

Smiling softly, I took hold of her hand as we began to walk home.

The House was only a twenty-minute walk from the park, so I wasn't stressed about it. Dahyun and I have walked further and longer before.

"I'm sure it's nothing, just Nayeon being a paranoid mom."

The brunette nodded, not seeming convinced.

As we walked home, hand in hand, we talked about everything under the sun.

Dahyun asked me so many questions, which was only fair since I'm usually the one prying into her personal life.

"Chae?" "Yeah?" Her cheeks tinted pink as she looked down at her feet. "Are we...Are we really dating now?"

I smiled, "Only if you want to."

Her head shot up, her eyes shining with joy. "I do. I just didn't know you felt the same."

Looking down at my feet, I eventually confessed, "I fell in love with you the moment I saw you in the convenience store."

The brunette smiled, a soft blush dusting over her cheeks.

We continued to walk in a comfortable silence as we both processed the fact that we were now dating.

Dahyun is my girlfriend.

While we walked, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being watched.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it truly does feel like there's a pair of eyes on us.

I tried to speed up our walking so we could get to The House faster, Dahyun following in my steps.

It wasn't long before we arrived home, Nayeon waiting for us by the door.

She sighed, letting her arms fall to her sides as we approached her. "I'm so glad you guys made it safely."

"Dahyun, why don't you go inside and take a shower." I smiled softly at the girl, who mirrored my smile as she nodded.

As she went inside, Nayeon gave me a questioning look.

"Someone was following us. I felt a pair of eyes on us the entire time."

Nayeon sighed, "I knew something was off. I wonder why they followed you guys, though. It's not like you're members."

I shrugged softly, "I'm not sure either. Don't tell Dahyun, I don't want her to worry. I'm going to keep her inside for a couple of days, just in case. I don't have a good feeling about this."

The leader only nodded as we began our journey inside.

"Let me know if there's anything we can do."

I thanked her before heading up to my room, plopping down onto the bed as I waited for Dahyun to exit the bathroom.
