The Necklace - Nanocoffee Oneshot

Ah! I'm sorry this took so long to come out, it's just that I haven't really been up to writing much recently, but there should be some more stuff coming out soon. Enjoy!

"Well, well, well, Fluxy!" Lalnable laughed, before using one hand to force Lalna to look at him.

"W-what? Where am I?" Lalna said; after all, he'd just woken up.

"Morning Sunshine! You're in a cage! Now look. I have two things to offer you. I need rid of Nano, and to do that, you have two options."

"Huh?" Lalna said, scared for the safety of his apprentice.

"Number one! You go and rip that sapphire off of her. Or number two, I will."

"I'm not doing that! I can't kill my best friend!"

"Haha, sure, best friend." He tormented. "Anyway, time to choose. One or two?"

"I'm not doing it. It's wrong."

"Fine then. Two it is!"

Lalnable suited up, using a mixture of glue and grape soda to create a flux-like substance and made himself look exactly like Lalna, before disappearing out into the base. After spotting Nano in her Noodle Bar, he decided to go in and act as if he had been in there the past hour.

The pair chatted , until the conversation got a little bit tense.

"The Flux is stupid. Can't you just wash it off?" He asked, whilst messing with a cupboard hinge.

"Lalna, you know it's not that easy!"

"Well you're not exactly trying to find a cure, are you?"

"Oh, excuse me for fighting against night terrors every night. Excuse me for beating myself up because I've practically killed my best friend. Excuse me for waiting for my death. I'm going to kill people Lalna! And you're expecting me to use my remaining strength and time that I have that I'm using to try and rid my memory of this to work out some cure for it whilst you're not even taking care of the prehistoric animals back there?" The apprentice hissed.

"Nano, I have those too! Have some god damn sympathy for others, will you?"

"Who are you and what have you done with my teacher?" Nano asked, sounding hurt.

"Oh, so I'm not even a friend now? I'm just some 'teacher'? " The clone asked.

"Yes, and I bet that stings for someone that has a school-boy crush on me." Nano spat, "Listen here Mr. Science, you have no shot with a girl like me."

The blonde-haired man chuckled, "Oh please, like some back stabbing person would ever be considered my friend."

"I know I'm right. Don't pretend that I don't hear all of the things you whisper behind my back, or notice all the scrunched up notes in our room that have on "Nano, I like you a lot" in a variety of ways on how to say it, or notice all the times I catch you staring at me when you think I'm not looking. I'm not stupid, Lalna." Nano replied.

Lalnable was at a loss for words. After all, she was correct on this one. He looked down before giving his fluxed up clone an evil grin, before grabbing Nano's sapphire.

"Lal-?" She was interrupted by a snapping sound before the sapphire wasn't in contact with her body any more, and she fell to the floor with a scream of agonising pain.

He grinned to himself and laughed evilly as he put the necklace in his labcoat pocket, joining his red pen, and left the girl to be taken over by the Flux.

"Nano? Nano!" Flux Buddies Lalna screamed as his clone joined him in his meteorite, one-way glass cage. He was tied up in a chair, forced to watch his best friend die right in front of him.

"You could have saved her if you just did one thing for me."

"She was going to die either way." Lalna hissed, refusing to look at the red-eyed man.

"But now you're mine. You're never going to be free. You have made the wrong decision." He maniacally laughed, before standing in his line of vision and forced him to look up. Lalna groaned in response to this.

"Here, you're going to want to see this." Lalnable smiled, "The last memory of Nano that you're going to have." He said, before placing the memory-erasing device on his head and flicking the switch.
