Toxic.

That's what he was. Toxic. Images of him ran throughout her veins whenever she got a minute so her thoughts could consume her. There was nothing she could do to fight back, he was in total control of her brain, and she was helpless.

His lips.

She thought; the sweet taste of his lips were still on his taste buds. They tasted like a mixture of icing sugar, along with salty water. The rough texture stood out, as she remembers every inch of them breaking away from hers, making the pair no longer in contact.

His eyes.

The glimmer in his emerald eyes stuck out to her like a saw thumb. There was nothing she could do, you could practically swim in those eyes. The way they lit up whenever he was happy made her heart flutter, and she hated him for that.

His laugh.

That cute little giggle he let out whenever she told a joke, or whenever they did something stupid together. It was as if nothing else mattered but that perfect little noise that came out of his mouth that made her stomach turn in on its-self.

His hair.

The strands of beautiful blonde hair sat perfectly on top of his head in a messy way, making him all the more attractive. The way that his goggles were placed on top of his head, making the odd strand stick up. The way that he would always run his hand through it, messing it up, when he was nervous.

But she couldn't care. The emotions she was feeling had become so mixed recently, and she couldn't controll it. That was until one night, when she saw the scientist.

He poked his head through the door, letting that goofy smile of his get straight through her. She didn't reply to this, but only turned away and sighed.

"Toxic." She muttered, making him shoot a puzzled look to her.

"You're toxic." She whispered once more. "You're like drugs."

Duncan's expression became worried and confused as he came over towards her and caressed her face between his hands.

"One minute you care for me, and the next you don't." She hissed out, swatting his hands away.

"Kim..." He started, but before he could continue, Kim was already standing up and the anger inside her was bubbling up to the surface.

"Don't 'Kim' me. Don't treat me like Zoey. She's probably still in your head." She spat at him, walking towards him, practically enraged. Duncan slowly walked backwards until he was cornered.

"She's not. She's long gone." He whispered, but this only made Kim laugh.

"This will teach you never to take advantage of me." She said, grabbing his hands. He felt a sudden shock, and then a great pain shoot throughout his veins. After she let go of him, Duncan checked his wrists. They were now a dark purple.

"Have fun thinking of her." She smiled evilly, before skipping out of the room.
