Day 2: Nukes - Nanocoffee Oneshot

Lalna's POV:

Today was the day. I quickly awoke Nano and gave her time to wake up, eat, shower and all of that. I spent the last full day here telling her how I felt, and cuddling and kissing; making sure that she felt beautiful and loved. Honestly, I wish I hadn't put us in this situation. But I had, and there was no turning back now. It had just hit dusk, and I climbed to the top of the Panda Labs, seeing everything in the way. TNT cannons facing straight as us, and arrows were already being sent our way.

"Nano, come on." I said, packing her suitcase of items that she wanted to take with her. She thought that we were going on holiday, yet she packed all of the stuff that she would need for survival, and day by day I've been sneaking down her most personal items, yet she hasn't noticed.

I heart grunting and shouting from the main door. I could easily hear Rythian's voice over them all, but there was always going to be more than just one. "Nano! Come on!" I said as I quickly put her suitcases into the Frigate. The small girl quickly came in and we blasted off just in time.

"I can't wait for this!" She squealed out in excitement.

"I know, you're going to have a great time." I said once I left the controls, trying to keep my smile up. Kim turned her head to the side and her voice sounded full of concern.

"You mean.. You're not coming?" She squeaked.

"No Nano..." I attempted to keep my voice calm for her, just so that wouldn't burst into tears. I quickly changed the subject as I showed her around the Frigate, and taught her how to steer and control it. I knew it had enough fuel to get her well away from Earth, so I believed that it was finally time to tell her.

"Lalna, what are you-" She started, but I just cut her off.

"Nano, you've been a huge part of my life. You've been a huge friend. Heck, even more than a friend. But, due to my condition, the world wants us dead. Save this ship for me. Steer it into a spaceshift rupture to these coordinates." I said, showing her the map of exactly where I wanted her to take the ship.

"Lalna?" She hiccuped.

"I will make sure that there are no more men or women pursuing us. I'm doing this for you." I said, fiddling with my oxygen gear and moving towards the ship's sector responsible of the nuke, boarding the nuke which had to be manually detonated due to system failure post the attacks coming from the planet. I gave a sad smile to the my apprentice who was now crying while settling myself next to the "Last Resort Button" on the nuke, holding myself with my hands and handcuffs. I took a deep breath before remotely ordering the ship to ignite the nuke's thrusters, firing myself off towards the Earth, slowly but surely entering it's atmosphere and blowing it to smithereens, along with myself.

My hectic life was no more.
