"God damn it!" Lalna cried out again as the clock hit 1 am. He had been doing this a lot for the previous week. He needed to create this potion of logic that Xephos had asked for as he had no choice.

The scientist mixed in all of the necessary ingredients in, brewing them together to make a glowing blue potion. He smiled as he ran tested it out on his cat Tiddles, who was unfortunately going to be the test subject.

To test this, Lalna had set up an obstacle course that Tiddles couldn't quite figure out but hopefully, if this worked, he would manage to complete it.

"Come on Tiddles." He cooed to the cat, pouring a bit of the mixture into her water, and with one lick, his eyes glowed blue. Lalna then picked up his familiar, and placed her on the first obstacle. The cat jumped from make-shift shelf to shelf rather quickly, acting seemly normal.

"Good cat." He whispered into thin air whilst petting her and recording the results that he'd found. Pinning the papers against the wall, he decided to test this for himself.

He unscrewed the lid once more and got a syringe, making it absorb in a few drops of the potion and finally taking them. As soon as the drops of the potion got into his system, he felt as though an explosion of ink was running through his veins.

His body was heating up and his heart was racing. The blood in his body felt as if it was thick lava. There was no way he could live through this, he thought. That was until he fell on the cold, stone floor being completely unconscious.

After days and nights passing, Lalna's glowing eyes flickered open in the darkness with the blue beams from his eyes illuminating the nearby area.

"What time is it?" He whispered to himself, quickly throwing himself against the computer, but something was strange. He couldn't quite remember his log in details that were ever so slightly encarved into his brain. The scientist managed to get the time and date from the screen that he was currently viewing, and that was all that mattered.

"Lalna? Is that you?" Nano's voice circled the room as she stood at the top of the ladder, hanging on with one hand while the other was used to rub her sleep-filled eyes. He looked up at her whilst slowly backing up against the cold walls that made him shiver when he came in contact with them.

"Lalna?" She asked, as his fingers ran along the blade of his sword, eventually reaching and gripping the handle.

"Who are you?" His voice shook with fear of being in an unfamiliar place, but suddenly became assertive as he repeated the question again.

"I'm you're apprentice, your best frie-"

"Where am I? You dare move a muscle and I'll have this sword right through your neck." He said, rummaging through the chests and taking the things that his old memory would have been familiar with.

"Lalna!" She cried as he managed to use the wand to create a black hole and escape from his own base, running out into the night.
