Do you ever wish it all to stop?
Each petal that falls off a tilting flower to stop drifting.
The rising and falling sky to finally stick.
The grains of grass to stop growing and the leaning trees to fall.
Flowing water in the streams to dissipate.
And when it all goes away.
The milliseconds of the clicking of each clock that halt.
I will have fallen several lifetimes and have finally learned when to stop.
