You have lost friends.
But I lost so many more.
I lost so much more.
Five, eight, ten and I lost count.
You lost maybe two friends but I lost parents....
A home......
I lost laughter. I lost a confidant.
I lost so much more than you did.
I lost the the ability to breathe.
You lost two friends.
But I'm glared at, ignored, shunned.
I don't exist in their minds.
I lost trust, comfort, and my whole world.
I use to run to you, now I drag my body through the wind, pulling at my aching limbs that can't keep going.
YOU lost TWO people.
YOU choose your path.
I didn't choose mine.
Now I rage, now I can't control myself, now I'm lost.
