With a sigh I snuggled next to Delany, my husband.
Now it was sort of strange, I mean I am a married woman and all, but I feel different. Probably it's the pregnancy.
Shit! I'm pregnant and married...to top it all in love and I'm just 16!
My birthday is four months. Long time. Delany will be nineteen in a month, he's old. That thought made me chuckle.
"What's funny?" he asked curiously.
"I was just thinking." I let out a giggle.
With amusement Del positioned himself on top of me, looking at my face intently. I took the freedom to kiss the tip of his nose. He made a funny sound and wiggled his nose, not forgetting he got really pink. I chuckled again. He is so amazingly perfect for me. Delany understands me, makes my silly life somewhat interesting, is smart and has patience issues. Oh! His looks would be the death of me! Straight black hair, those endless eyes, full lips and pale skin. Strong arms, that'll hold me together every time I'm falling apart. He's my everything.
Without thinking it twice I kissed him gently, so soft it was barely a kiss. Before it could get to passionate and out of control I pulled away. Del was staring at me adoringly and confused at the same time.
"Hey! What gives?" he pouted.
"I love you, you know that?" with my right hand I caressed his cheek.
Surprise, joy, amusement were all written over his face.
"I-love-you-too." he said between every soft kiss.
I like this. I really do. The easiness of it, no drama, no fighting. Everything just with the two of us was fine, not to forget our unborn baby.
"Now, don't think I've forgotten. What was so funny?"
I chuckled again. He'll probably be hurt.
"Nothing." I turned my face.
"Come on baby, you can trust me." he trailed his nose along my jaw, while chanting 'please'. when his nose trailed down to my neck I let out a laugh.
"Alright, I'll tell you. Just stop, you're tickling me."
He laughed and nodded.
"I was just thinking about everything."
"Everything?"
"Yeah. How I'm now married and that I'm pregnant, at the age of 16. How my birthday is in four months and I'll be all huge. How you'll be nineteen in a month and I still don't know what to buy you. Then when you compare our ages... you'll be nineteen and I'll be seventeen...I came down to the conclusion that you are very old, love." I was holding my breath here. But that the same time I wanted to laugh so bad.
Delany's face didn't give him away. No emotion seemed present in his body.
"I'm only two years older! Not that much. I love you and that counts a lot." he said after a while of thinking.
"It does, honey, it does. You know age doesn't matter to me, it just came to mind. No worries, you'll be stuck with me forever." I smiled wickedly. "Hug time!"
I let all his weight on me and hugged me. I wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Del I don't think this is good, maybe I should be on top. I mean the baby isn't fully formed but still you're heavy." I mumbled against his neck.
He let out a chuckle and we turned positions. Now he held me by the waist and I hid my face in hi neck, arms on his shoulders.
"This is comfy, you know?" I wiggled my head on his neck and he laughed.
