"Tell me what happened." the officer asked again.
"We already told you what happened! Now I want you to look for my baby, he could be hurt." I yelled at the man.
Is he seriously asking me what happened?
We've told them everything and they want more?
Kyle must be so scared right now and these guys aren't doing anything.
"We already sent a team to search for your kid but we cant do much if we don't know who did it." he said in that awful calm voice.
"It's Zachary Miller! We've already said it!" Delany slammed his fist against the desk.
The police are also interrogating our friends. For some reason we are all suspects. Are they brain dead or something?!
"You aren't so sure about that. We can't go arresting people just because of a guess."
"But you can get an interrogation permit, or something like that. Plus he's a fugitive." Del said and I could see he was trying very hard not to loose his cool with this man.
The man shook his head. "We cant do that anymore."
"I saw him! What more proof do you want?!" I yelled at the man.
"Look. Zach already escaped prison, you should know this. Just contact other police stations and you'll know. Or simply ask the guy Clyde took down, he was the one who grabbed Kyle. Just do something! Anything to save my kid. Zach is dangerous and-"
The officer interrupted Del. "How do you know this Zach guy is dangerous?"
Delany groaned. "You know what? Fuck this. Fuck you. We are going to search for our kid without you! Come on Scarlett let's get out of here."
"You do know that you're dating a minor, we can arrest you for that." the police guy threatened.
Now where did that come from? He can arrest my husband but not the man who took our kid?
"We already went through that and it is now legal since she's my wife. Now go do something right and warn every station about Zach." Delany grabbed my hand and pulled me out.
Outside were our friends and Ingrid. She actually looked worried.
"How did it went?" Erin asked.
"They are stupid and slow as hell. They wont do anything so we have to do something on our own." Delany answered and we started to the door.
"What can we do?" Ingrid asked.
Delany turned sharply at her. "Anything to save my son."
"The guy I took down said Zach was going to a hotel." Clyde informed.
"There're around twelve hotels in this town." Mike said and winced at the same time.
"Then we'll search them all." Delany came to a halt in front of our car. "Listen it's better if we separate. Clyde and Erin you go to the ones on the west side. Aidan and Brie you go to the ones north. Mike and Ingrid you go to the south near the airport."
They all nodded and I couldn't help but notice that Mike didn't like the idea of being with Ingrid.
"What about you and Scarlett?" Aidan asked.
"We'll go east, near the mall and the park. Don't just search hotels, look everywhere, its best if we print some pictures." Del said and looked at me.
"There's a library near here."
