Kakureta's Backstory

Chapter 11

We walk into this beautiful garden full of different flowers and plants, we were walking a stone path leading to a bench Asmodeus sat down first pulling me down with him "it's so pretty here." I look around in amaze he just laughs. We talked for hours until the sun was starting to go now "I'm sorry but I should go now." I stand up and fix my dress, I turn to face him and smile "Goodbye." I walked off "Okay I'll stay here for a little longer, goodnight." he waved me goodbye, I try and make my way to the townsquare again it was easy due to the music still playing and people cheering, I quickly find a trader who can take me back to my home but he will be going in a hour. I nodded at the man and sat down watching children run around playing games with eachother I couldn't help but smile it reminded me of when Jade and I were little running around the palace and getting told off for the little pranks we'd do on maids and guards. I feel a tap on my shoulder I guess I was daydreaming so I didn't see the man come over "I'm ready now miss." He spoke ruffly I stand up and follow him, getting on and sitting down staring at the things going past me still thinking about the childhood days with Jade constantly smiling when I would remember Jade's smile it was like the sun was gazing on you, her smile would make you smile. I end up passing out due to the excitement and energy I used, it wasn't often I'd do so much in one day especially a whole different city with completely different people than the usual ones I see at home.

I wake up to the night sky and stars twinkling at me, I slowly rub my eyes, stretching my legs and arms and look around the man from before was leaning against the cart not noticing I had woke up "I'm sorry but are we here?" I spoke, my voice still groggy from the nap I took. He jumped as he heard my voice "Ah, yes we are here but I didn't want to wake you." I get up and off the cart and thank you man, waving him goodbye as he gets out of view. I walked through the entrance to the city, lazily getting steps but making sure I don't get seen by any guards, I see a bright light so I quickly cover my eyes and try walking off unfortunately as I turned someone grabbed my wrist, their grip was strong "Get off! Do you hear me?! Get off me!" I scream at the figure, they almost instantly get their hand off "Sorry princess but you need to be back at the palace, your parents want to see you." A talk guard ruffles my head said walks behind me as we make our way to there. I was nervous that they found out about my sneaking out but I was wrong, as I opened their study's door they smiled at me 'Why are they smiling...?' I had a weird expression that my parents clearly noticed "Hi honey, we know your birthday is coming up and wanted to give you a early birthday present." My father stands up as he explains, my mother continues "Please close your eyes." I close my eyes, quite nervous to what the present might be "Put your hands out." I hear my mother say so I did just that then felt a circle shape go into my hands 'No way... They didn't, did they?' I open my eyes before they can tell me to and I let a shrill if excitement and look at my parents with a bright smile, there was a golden crown with beautiful jewels incraved in it and hug my parents and they help me put it on.

I go back to my room basically skipping, I was so happy that they didn't find out and that I got the royal crown, I was meant to be queen soon 'No more being bossed about! I'll be the one doing that instead.' I thought but as I was daydreaming I bumped into someone, I hold my head trying to stop a headache from appearing "Ouch!" I shout out to the person, it was Jade "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" I looked as her surprised "Uh hi Jade, I didn't know it was you." I anxiously reply, Jade looks up and looks at me wide eyed "Wait, where were you?!" Her face was full of worry, I start to explain everything that happens to the very end where my parents gave me the crown.
