There he was, my father the man I've only seen at special royal events. "Father? What are you doing here? Where's everyone else?" I spoke quickly, all I was really worried about was Jade. "They're off duty, with their family or out shopping." He said with a smirk "Oh, then who's gonna do the breakfa-" He cut me off before I could even finish "We're going to, as a family" when he spoke this time it was with an actual smile, why was he being so nice? I thought to myself as I just nodded to my father and headed back into the palace.

I open the kitchen doors to see no one, not even my mother it felt so weird to have no one around here in a rush to make food. I hear the door creak quickly I turn around to see my mother, her blonde hair in a messy bun and wearing her pajamas like me "Uhm.. hello mother." I said quietly I've always been scared of my mother. "Where is everyone? I need my outfit picked for today and my hair done!" She spoke angrily "Dad made them all take a day off, I don't know why" I mutter, I've never been a fan of talking to my mother she always seemed angry for some reason. "Speak up, girl. Where's your dad as well?" I took a deep breathe "Dad's in the garden, he'll explain." My mother stormed out as soon as I finished leaving me alone in the kitchen.

After 5 minutes of looking through a cook book I decide what I want to make for breakfast, something easy eggy bread. I go to the fridge and grab a few eggs and walk over to the counter, grabbing a bowl, fork and seasonings I crack the eggs into the bowl and mix adding seasoning as I do as I was getting the bread the door flies over. My parents were standing there I guess they were going to start making food? I grab the bread and drip it in the liquid completely ignoring my parents standing there. I finish cooking all of it and put it on a plate and go to the dining room leaving my parents to struggle making theirs, I eat quickly and put my plate back in the kitchen after I get an idea so I run back to my room and grab some clothes that I would never be allow to wear and a cloak to find my face, I get dressed and look in the mirror my blue eyes meeting in the mirror and then looking at my outfit with a smile on my face. I put the cloak on and head out the palace it's one of the only times I'll ever go out without guards and people staring.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I found my way to the village after staring at the view of the valleys and rivers while their redish blonde hair blew in the wind, I found their self exploring around the market very quickly my eyes lighting up as soon as id see food, I probably looked like a child staring at them with my mouth open since I heard a few sellers laughing when I did. I walk over to a few children to play with them, for a elf I was still only a child at 58 and I definitely looked like one "Hello, what are you guys doing?" I say quietly to the group, they stare and then start smiling. One girl says "you're so pretty and your ears look so cute!" I smile and say thank you then another spoke up "we're going to play tag, did you want to play?" What is that game? I never heard of it, maybe because we didn't get to do a lot. "Uhm... What is tag?" They all looked shocked but explained how to play, I couldn't run in the palace very often because of the maids everywhere. I nod after they finish and we start playing "Tag is so fun!" I said excitedly my whole body was full of adrenaline and my heart was racing.
