I get into the village as the sun is setting slowly and walk into a noisy tavern to get something to eat, I didn't have a lot of money on me. I sit down on an empty table in the corner and listen to the playful music as I stare at the wooden table Infront of me "Hi! What can I get you?" An adorable little dwarf comes up to me "Hi ma'am, I'd like the cheapest meal on the menu." I look away in shame, she nods and walks away as I lay my head on the wood 'I can't believe this.' I thought after a while the lady comes back with my food and I immediately start eating it, people around me were staring but I didn't care I was so hungry as I had were those cookies earlier. I quickly finish and pay the bill leaving the lady a quite large tip, I walk out and realise "I have no place to go." I thought out loud I spot a bench and lay down on it I try getting comfortable as I shiver in the cold wind. After a while I fall asleep peacefully unfortunately in my sleep, a drunk goblin wobbles out and assumes I'm a animal so they start hitting me with a weapon they were carrying, I wake up with no memories, not even my name but as I wake up they hit harder and I pass out on the bench again terribly bruised.

I feel the sunlight hit my face making my bruises glow a little, I slowly get up in agony and look around 'How did I get here?' I could see people staring at me with shame but I was confused on why. I look at my arms as I push myself up and my eyes widen 'What? Why am I covered in bruises? Where even am I?' I thought with panic, I checked my clothes to see what I had with me, all I found was bag of coins. I slowly walk to the closest building people's glares following me every step I took, I opened the door stumbling as I get to the counter. It was a small bakery full of different types of bread and desserts like cupcakes, muffins and biscuits, the person at the corner looked at me with shock. "Are you alright?" A little girl rushes to my side and helps me to a chair, I stay quiet and slowly nod "I'm fine, I'm just wondering where I am." The small child looked at me strangly "You were here yesterday, miss? How'd you forget?" She answers 'What." I had some many questions like why I couldn't remember and what even happened "Oh I'm sorry, my memory must be playing up." I lightly smiled and ordered a slice of cake covered in icing that I saw on the counter.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

As I finish eating I hear the door of the bakery open making a little bell ring on the top of it, a old woman walks up to the counter and drops a bag off, the little girl and her mother come out and start talking to this short old woman, she had white short hair with brown eyes and tan skin from being in the sun. As they finish talking the old lady walks up to me and puts her hand out "Come on, I heard you don't know what's going on. I can look after you until you're better." She looks down at me and smiles, I cowardly get up 'Should I trust her.' I question myself, I stand there staring at her hand as she looks up at me now "Alright then." I finally agree, she leads the way to a little cart as I follow behind covering my face to avoid all the stares and glares. She helps me on the back with a few bags like the one in the bakery 'I'm guessing these are ingredients?' I look back at the elderly woman as she hops on and we start moving towards to the city gates while trying to make small talk with me "So what's your name?" She asks me while looking back I quickly reply "Uhm, my name is... Uh I'm sorry I don't know ma'am." She chuckles at my reply "That's fine, you'll remember soon enough." we make it to the gate and guards ask for documents. I try hiding my head like the woman asked me to but I didn't understand why, after a while they let us out of the city gates and the old lady started heading to the next town to drop off bags to more bakeries.
