Kakureta's Backstory

Chapter 5

I wake up once again to the sound of clashing and talking, 'they are back.' I thought they kept making so much noise that I ended up getting up, I walked up to my wardrobe and got my own outfit trying to be quiet to make the maids think I'm asleep. I wore a summer dress due to the hot weather in the day and add a hood that can be buttoned together around the neck then sneaked around the palace hoping not to get caught. "Kakureta, is that you?" I heard someone say instead of turning around or replying I walked fast which made the person run to me, I heard every step they made so I ran as fast as I could but my hood came off revealing my hair, now they definitely knew it was me "Kakureta, stop!" I heard just behind me. I turn around out of breath and see Jade "Oh, it's just you" I say panting "Just me?! You should have known that." She said with a angry face. "Where are you going? You're dressed like you were yesterday." She broke the silence "I'm going back out, I enjoyed the peace and all the happiness." I tried my best to avoid eye contact and turn around, "Take me with you." I look back kind of shocked "At least I can make sure you're okay and have fun with you." She was trying to convince me "Alright then, just be quiet and don't let anyone see you." I said, she smiled instantly walking away to grab some things we will need finally we walked off to the gates.

After a hour of trying to find the best way to sneak out we made it out using a spot me and Jade found as kids it's covered in trees and bushes now so it's the best place to go through, we walk through the forest to get to the village without getting caught Jades brown silky hair glowing in the small spots of sun, risking the end of the forest I put my hood up and Jade put on a cloak she was holding and we start walking again, as soon as we get to the market I take Jade to all the good stores I saw yesterday hoping they'd be there that is. 2 hours later Jade and I are carrying at least 3 bags full of desserts and food and walking over to a bench, we sit down and open the bags seeing what we want to eat first of course I knew what I wanted first as soon as I saw it on a shelf, I quickly grab a pinky coloured pudding apparently the pudding had strawberries in it which is why it's pink.

We both finish a whole bag of the desserts and laid back "My stomach hurts." Jade complained with a distressed look
"Mine does too, I'm full I can't eat anymore. We should give the rest to children." I reply holding my stomach from the pain. We stay sitting for a little long and stand up and grabbed the bags looking for children nearby 'What if they think we're kidnappers.' I thought, Jade noticed I was obviously thinking about something but stayed quiet. We head to the park and start giving some of the children the desserts, I see a group I recognize so I called out "Hey guys!" The group looks over and see me standing there holding a few items, their adorable eyes widen and they smile showing their teeth as they did. I walk over with Jade "Hi." One of the children looking at Jade "Are they for us?" Another asked before Jade could even say Hi, "Yes they are" me and Jade said nearly in sync while we hand out a few for each kid.

After they eat the children say goodbye and start playing again "That's how we used to be like." I turn to Jade "Yeah, I remember you causing chaos though" I replied while laughing, she also starts laugh after we calm down we start walking back to the palace hoping no one noticed us being gone for 3 hours. "Want to race?" I hear Jade say "Sure, I'll beat you though so don't cry." I reply smiling as we both start running while laughing through the forest, I watch my feet making sure I don't trip over we finally make it back to the spot and walk through into the palace trying to open the doors, it was locked already "Who the hell knows about our spot?" I heard Jade say "I don't know Jade."
