GOD'S FAVOURITE.
ACT ONE - FINALE

▪︎▪︎▪︎

It was a gravel garden. Not a cremation or burial...But a picturesque estate that someone had spent there hard earned money on to not only furnish but keep well taken care of over the years. Even if the world moved on, even if memories turned to bits and pieces over the years, there would still be a home for those who rested there to stay.

The rural area was surrounded by greenery. From the freshly cut emerald grass to the flourishing plants and trees colours sprouted out every which way. A fresh scent that made a mix between Lavenders and Gardenia's perfumed the surrounding area and along the stone path cobblestone slabs were leading left and right to the back of the field, separating the two trails had been a marble bird fountain, glassy cerulean water occasionally dripping out from the tap as two humming birds perched themselves on the rim. At the bottom of the statue had been an array of wild flowers that mostly consisted of white roses and orchards and it had been outlined with several stones to prevent them being stepped on or crushed.

Behind the large hedge opening had been a single tree, an apple one. A small basket full of the red fruit had been left on the bench and several others had fell from there branches, insects such as ladybugs crawling around the bruised fruit and perched on the bleeding end to suck up the juice. It was larger than any standard apartment building and provided shade towards three separate resting places. Though they had been nothing fancy the chipped headstones had the information carved into them, most likely using some sort of knife or rock. A single daffodil laid infront of each and rested peacefully on the grass, along with a framed picture of there faces.

Though her wardrobe was currently sparse she had been gifted old clothes from the ladies in the building. A black sleeveless vest top hid underneath her cropped cream cardigan which showcased designs of black and grey diamonds, the left side rested off of her shoulder and three brown buttons provided coverage from the cropped element of her vest. She had matched it with a thigh length olive skirt that had two pockets designed in and a belt that had been tied around her waist. Finally, some off green combat boots and frilled socks to match. Along with her necklace and phone a section of her hair underneath the visible strands had been dyed pink, though simply few strands it suited her perfectly.

Beside her Matsuda had been dressed in mostly black with only a marron coloured sweater and shimmering golden bracelet providing any colour to his look, though it was smaller he had also matched the colour of his laces on his dress shoes to the oversized jumper.  "Are you sure?"

A soft nod was all he needed before he held out his arm to escort her across the path, both of there shoes clacking against the pavement in a soothing rhythm before pausing at the entrance. He wondered if he should say something or offer to come with her, then again both of them were aware no matter how much they wanted the others company. it was something she had to do herself before it started getting dark.

Handing her the sets of bouquets and a small blue tin wrapped in ribbon Matsuda pointed towards the car. "I'll wait for you." He murmured sweetly. As always he made sure to kiss the side of her head before bidding goodbye. "Take as much time as you need."

Though she had been left anxious it was always cleansed when she turned her back, he didn't need to say a single word and yet Touta soothed her. Even now she doubted that she could've gone through with coming here if he hadn't held her hand every step of the way and yet he never complained or lashed out, he never yelled at her or snapped for how insensitive it may have been all things considered. Instead, like the blessing he was to her, the ravenette waited by, smiling softly everytime she looked back.
