Chapter 13

My eyes flutter open as I hear a very very annoying ring. I peak my head up and notice that the window curtains are still open. I look at the nightstand and glance at my phone. It's not my alarm. I notice Katy is still in bed. I gently put my hand on her shoulder, starting to gently shake her.

"Katy is that your phone?"

Katy flinches a little bit, looking up at me, confused. I slightly chuckle.

"Hey sleepy-head, is that your phone?" She feels around the bed for her phone. She picks it up, and slides her finger across the smooth porcelain glass. She rather forcefully puts her phone under the pillow. Then rests her head onto it.

"It's quite ironic your alarm woke me up. How did you slee-" someone then opens the main doors, and shuts it loudly.

"Katheryn Hudson, are you awake?!" someone yells through the room. Katy quickly jumps up out of the bed. I notice that she is fully dressed, and ready to go. She just got out of bed. I laugh as I see a angry Tamra come through the room, and look at Katy who is getting her shoes on.

"Almost ready Tam" Katy says. I look at her, questionably.

"Good, I'll be in Leah's room" she says, as we watch her walk through the doors.

"Did you wear that to bed?"

"Yeah, so I didn"t have to wake up earlier to get ready."

I hum to myself actually thinking about Katy's idea. I mean if it works for her.

I feel a small vibration and quickly realize its Katy's phone. I look down to the pillow and try and find the phone. Katy quickly springs up to the bed and jumps on the pillow before I could get to it. I look at her and laugh, thinking what a childish action.

"So who is it?"

"Who is who?"

"You sound like an owl, get to explaining"

Katy laughs, then states "Its no one" with a mischievous smile.

"I have no clue who you are trying to fool, but trust me, I will find out" I say as I get out of the huge bed and walk to my bag. Clothes. Fresh clothes, unlike Katy's slept in clothes. I laugh at the thought that she actually slept in them. I grab my toothbrush and head towards the bathroom to change.

Once I come out ready to go, Katy and Tam are circled in front of the tv, watching the news. As the news segment comes on the stop talking to eachother and focus.

I look at the screen and have no idea what is going on. Everything is in Japanese.

"Its going to be 59 degrees today" Katy says.

"Shut up you cant read that" I say

"Oh I can young lady, trust me"

I roll my eyes to that comment. Katy then suddenly throws a pillow at me in response.

"What are we doing today?"

Katy looks at me, then she looks at Tam

"Actually Ali, we're going to hang out today!" Tamra says

"I see, the better question is then, what is Katy doing today?"

Katys POV

The loopholes this kid has. I feel so guilty I brought her here. This trip was strictly for business matters. Venue responsibilities. I needed her to come, I needed to say this was a vacation. She wouldn't have came if I told her I wouldn't be around as much.

I cant lie to her now. I need to tell her.

"I am going to the venue I will be playing at soon. It was scheduled last night after you fell asleep. I was thinking you wouldn't want to be sitting around all day. So I asked Tam if she would show you some things around"

I watched her face shift into a frown.

"Okay"

"Okay?" I look at her with a frown.

"Lets go then, Tam" Tamra quickly follows her command and walks past me. As I watch Alison walk out the door I call Tamra.

"Tam!"

"You just got sassed into next Tuesday! Car will be here in 30, someone will come up and get you, have fun, we will text you pics!"

And with that I am alone in my hotel room.

Did I deserve this?
