[TJ's POV]

It was soon Georgette's birthday, and CJ and I got up early to make a birthday breakfast.

It was also Halloween tomorrow so later before we get to the surprise party we're planning, CJ and I are going to get our costumes.

She wants to be a princess, but not a Disney Princess even though she likes Merida and Mulan, only because, and I quote, "they didn't need a man to help them."

Yeah, thanks Farren. You raised a moderately, almost severely, serious feminist. Thanks.

Anyway, she just decided to be a regular princess for one year, but she likes those CreepyPasta stories, and wanted to be Laughing Jill next year.

"Okay, almost done," I said, leaving the waffles set on the table before I finished frying the eggs on the stove.

"Daddy, are we still gonna get our costumes later?" she asked as she popped a blueberry in her mouth.

"Yep. Mommy's gonna be out with some friends, while you and I buy our costumes for tomorrow, and something for today since its a Halloween party, and then head on over to Uncle Craig's house to help with the party and then it takes off from there," I explained. "But remember, its a secret. Okay?"

She nodded as I accidentally spilled some pancake batter on the ground and Pickles started to eat it.

"No, Pickles, don't do that," I scolded as CJ giggled and Pickles just ignored and kept eating.

Maybe I should consider some training classes for the little guy. I mean, he's already house broken, so might as well teach him how to heal so he won't drag my kid down the street during a walk when he's big enough.

I smiled at CJ, and then noticed how long her hair is getting. Maybe I should have her get a haircut. Georgette can probably come up with something.

Soon it was all done and I handed a bouquet of flowers to CJ.

"Go wake up Mommy and give her these," I said.

She nodded, taking the bouquet and scurrying off, Pickles following behind.

I made sure everything was in place.

[CJ's POV]

I entered Mommy & Daddy's room and saw Mommy asleep.

I ran up and poked her cheek. "Mommy?"

She mumbled something before her eyes opened and saw me, and she smiled.

"Hey, baby girl," she yawned, and I held out the flowers for her.

"Happy birthday Mommy," I smiled.

She had a bigger smile and hugged me before taking the flowers.

"Aww, thank you so much," she said as I hugged her back, Pickles jumping on and licking her cheek, making her laugh. "And thank you, Pickles."

"We have a surprise for you, come on," I said, pulling her hand.

She laughed and got up and I dragged her to the kitchen, Pickles following us as we walked in and saw Daddy stand there under the big Happy Birthday banner.

"Oh my god!!" Mommy said, looking surprised.

"Happy birthday!" Daddy sung as he walked over, picking me up with one arm and kissing Mommy as Pickles jumped around us happily.

"This is the best thing to wake up, too," Georgette said. "Thank you, guys."

"Its nothing. Now, let's eat, we made your favorites," he said.
