[Georgette's POV]
Its been weeks since we've come back and things have turned out great.
TJ and I are almost done renovating the new house and should be moved in by next month.
CJ has been healthy and mischevious as usual, and with Pickles by her side, might as well call them Joker and Harley Quinn.
CJ will be starting school next week. My mom helped out with picking a good elementary school, though with the rules and stuff, we may have discovered a side of Celeste we never have imagined.
"Okay, so, since its all girls, you have to wear jumpers and skirts," I said, sorting out the uniforms I bought earlier for her, TJ looking at them as CJ sat on her bed with Pickles.
She looked up and frowned. "Why do I have to wear that?" she asked.
"Because, girls have to wear skirts for school, CJ," TJ saod, holding up the black and red plaided skirt.
"NU-UH!! Girls shouldn't be wearing skirts just because a bunch of boys running a boord of eeducashin say so!!" she said, now angered. "Girls can wear pants and shorts to school, too!!"
I went still and looked at her as TJ looked like he was about to run for his life.
Since when did a 6 year old like CJ know a lot about feminism?
"CJ, where did you learn that?" I asked, suddenly curious.
"Mommy taught me. She thinks ladies should be paid more for a lot of things, too, and should not be shamed or judged by man just because they are girls. That's why she always told me to never let no man tell me what i can and can't do," she said.
My eyes widen. I didn't know if to feel proud of her or be slightly afraid.
"Umm, I'm gonna make a call," TJ said and darted out the room.
CJ looked at me. "Was it something I said?"
"Umm... well," I saod, not knowing what to say.
[TJ's POV]
I dialled Chris and he answered.
"Hello?" He asked.
"I need to ask you an important question," I said. "By any chance was Farren a feminist?"
It went silent before he spoke.
"What did CJ say?" He asked.
"She nearly chewed my head off because I told her she has to wear a skirt and jumper at her new school," I said. "It kind of scared me how smart she came at us, considering she is 6."
I heard him chuckle. "Yeah, she would sometimes overhear Farren's rants when she would come home from work, since she was paid much more less than her male co-workers, and how they were pretty sexists. Even caught Farren off guard when CJ was 2 and snapped at Balz for making a 'women belong in the kitchen' joke to mess with Farren," he laughed.
"Well shit. Fair warning next time. Now to find out how to have her wear her uniform without getting in trouble with her," I said and he laughed.
"She won't bite, you know that. Hey got to go, we got rehearsals in a bit," He daid.
We said our goodbyes and I sighed.
"Jeesh Farren, what's next? Religious conflict?" I muttered, running a hand through my hair as I went back upstairs.
***
After that Feminist moment, I went out with CJ to buy tonight's dinner.
Its been a while since we had sushi, so I bought some chicken nuggets for CJ and stuff to make sushi for me and Georgette.
