"This briefing is for personnel only, I'll let him lead this." Said Abraham Tower, a Overlander veteran of the Great War and the chief commander for the Guardian Units of the Nation, succeeding Commander Hugo Brass. During his time as chief commander, he has recruited Hope Kintobor and Shadow the Hedgehog into G.U.N, and after giving out a few missions for the latter, formed Team Dark with the pair along with Rouge the Bat and E-123 Omega for certain top level missions.

Shown to be a gruff, stoic and almost an inconsiderate military man, as he didn't even show concern for Shadow, who was said to be becoming one of his top agents. Hope Kintobor was terribly worried over the hedgehog's well being, whilst Tower showed no hesitation or worry. Despite his cold demeanor and military upbringing, Commander Tower does have a soft side which he rarely ever shows, and a great sense of duty towards his people. It is this soft side that made him want to recruit E-102 Gamma into G.U.N and have him repaired him for his services to the world. He expects his top agents like Shadow and Rouge to be successful no matter how hard on their part, even if they go up against a god-like being. He also seems to be fond of Hope Kintobor, possibly as a result of her resemblance to Maria, whom he deeply regretted being unable to protect.

Now, Commander Tower allows Mobians, Overlanders, Cybertronians and all other species to be members of G.U.N., because they are joining the human population, and are worthy allies in the war against Doctor Eggman as well as any and all evil.

"Thanks Commander. Alright, listen up everyone!" Hugo Brass, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Guardian Units of the Nation, later becoming its military strategist and eventually Tower's second in command while maintaining his rank of commander. Having direct communications with the President of Station Square, Commander Brass organized some of the most well-known of G.U.N.'s operations in Earth's history.

Brass is a stereotypical, stoic military leader. He is loud, authoritative, and ready to accept command at any opportunity, though he seemed distrusting of outsiders and disliked it when operations were not put under his own jurisdiction. His status as military strategist would also suggest he has some unseen tactical intelligence.

Hugo Brass opened up a holo terminal showing a certain location. "This mission is of the utmost important."

"Indeed. A feminine voice in thr form of Amanda Tower said softly standing next to Towers and Brass.

Amanda is a dutiful soldier with a commanding presence. She is also a consummate professional, fully willing to work with the Freedom Fighters, the Autobots, Dominion. and others to offer them reassurance in the midst of a crisis.

Amanda: I think we're going to need all the help we can get this.

Meanwhile. . .

Just outside the Central Spaceport, an army of civilians put their petals to the metal as they jockeyed for positions in a mad dash to reach Fueling Station Delta before everyone else. Broken-down mass transit systems littered the sides of the roadways, and dozens of refugees ran on foot on the shoulder.

Despite the rush, there was a sense of hopelessness to the whole race. Perhaps, deep down, all the participants knew there was no chance that they would make it to the Ark before liftoff.

And indeed, the great golden ship began to rise in the far distance. Scaffolding and loading towers fell away from the vehicle as a bluish glow illuminated her stern. Five massive rocket engines activated, one after the other.

Metroplex, the colossus of Iacon, shouted with fury as he swatted an entire platoon of Decepticons, just off to the north. Like those Decepticons, everyone tearing down the expressways were fighting a losing battle. Still, they kept driving, kept running, but every one of their efforts were in vain.
