Although Ajan Kloss is a moon, it has d two moons of its own. Its gas giant shielded it from harmful radiation. The jungle resonated with life and Resistance scouts would routinely check for new species to be used in medicine, though the moist environment meant technicians had to work double-time to moisture proof electronics. Other annoyances on the planet included fungal and insect infections, but there were no large predators on the moon. Eternal MasterLuke Skywalker once compared Ajan Kloss with the planet Dagobah, where he trained years before with Yoda. He noted that the similarities between Dagobah and Ajan Kloss were that they were wet, warm, green and overflowing with life, but the main difference was that Ajan Kloss did not smell bad. The Ajara gas giant reflected sunlight onto the moon's surface, allowing plants to gain sustenance even at night.

The lush temperate forest moon of Ajan Kloss is teemed with life; chirping birds, small chattering animals, leafy trees rustling in the wind. Rey, and several other of Joey's Force-Sensitive wives' such as Kemba, Eos, Aleena, Chole, and Libra came to this clearing, deep in the woods, to meditate, away from the distractions of the massive celebration. These simple beings helped them connect with the Force in a way Rey couldn't when surrounded by people and their complex emotions. As Joey's wives' sank deeper into the Force, they floated higher above the forest floor, legs crossed, eyes closed, hands resting on their knees, chanting "I am immortal through the Force." Rocks swept up in the power of her meditation circled around like a strange solar system with her as it's star. BB-8, R5-D4, R2-D2, T3-M4,C7-O1, and Kenny patrolled the forest under them, occasionally letting out their curious "beeps".
