Skating back to you [Love on ice series]

★Chapter fourty★

Augustus costello

I look at my daughter and groaned, She is burnt out from a sugar rush and we're almost home and She'll kill me with the those adorable small hands of her when she sees out daughter passed out from a bunch of sugared snacks and food I gave her because she played me, those puppy dog eyes that I couldn't resist no matter how I knew that I should have not.

I park inside and took long deep breaths as I slowly carried Aurora from the seat to my arms, she weights literally nothing
I kick the door open and laid on her bed
"I love you Trouble". I said kissing her head after tucking her head and walked out of her room.

I walked to my room and sighed, I need to take a shower and eat something. I'm freaking hungry and yes, I don't want to curse anymore because of Aurora and I mean Star would kill me if she says fuc-.

I removed my clothes and put them in the laundry basket then went to shower, I like hot bath in the night and colds one in the morning, I cleaned myself and put my night wear and sat down on my bed.

I looked at the presents of different sizes and shapes and the wrapping paper. I'm getting a present for each year i missed, each of them had a meaning and a note that i was suppposed to write this night.

I didn't look for overly expensive gifts, i just want to give her the present that she was supposed to get for her birthday and i hope she likes them, no loves them no

"Augustus". Indigo's voice calls, a lazy smile appears on my face when she kept calling my name until she knocks my door waiting for a reply.

"You can come in Star". I said, I drop the present on my lap on the bed and stared at her when she opens the door and shut the door behind her after entering.

"Uhm, You texted me that you want to talk? What did you and Aurora do now?" She scowls and I should be offended, but  she knows me and Aurora to well and I mean she looks hot when she puts her hand on her chest and scowls at me.

I might have a scowling kink now, I need to see the doctor about that soon" I kinda of gave her too much sugar and she's-"

"Burnt down from a sugar rush?".

"Yeah that". I smiled as she face palms herself"But in defence if we didn't make a adorable daughter then I would have said no but we did, and it's your fault-"

"Yes Aurora is adorable but do you know how cranky she gets when she burnt out from a sugar rush?". Indigo says

"This is not her first burnt out?".

"Obliviously". Indigo rolls her eyes" she did the puppy eyes to me when I was like new to mother stuff and she will be so burnt out like you're in for treat-".

"You know your adorable daughter who loves smiling and being cute?". She ask and I nod"Well say good bye to her when  she wakes up because she's going to be so mean and she might cause tantrums"

"We are not being dramatic?". I said giving a worried laugh, I love Aurora but mean Aurora is not something I want to see my daughter in any time soon

"Why do you think I gave her the name trouble? Tantrums and she's trouble, the pain of my ass that I love so much". She says with a dreamy smile on her lips
