Augustus left to give me some privacy so here I'm dipping my Pringles in a jar of Nutella with a heating bag on my stomach with my favorite show on, I felt like like a princess because my dad would put me and my sister in the isolation room(basement) until our period was over because "we are unclean".

My mom or brother would bring us food or water, there was a bell in the basement so whenever we are hungry or thirsty, either of them would come and if they are not home then no food for us until they come"God damn". I moaned when a wave of cramp hits me but will it stop me from eating this combo!

So it was mid afternoon and Aurora was already so impatient so we are here in the living room with her gifts, she claps as the maids brings them to her" Uhm, which one should I open first". She cooes, she walks to a gift wrapped with blue wrapping paper.

"From uncle Brett, Happu birthday my beautiful niece, uncle Brett loves you". She reads out, I could feel tears well up from my eyes because he just met Aurora and like- No no no, don't tell my you want to cry

I wipe a tear as she unwraps the gift, "mommy, say cheese". Aurora says taking out a pink shiny portable camera, before I could react, the flash blinds me

She looks at me and cooes"Daddy, look". She runs to her dad and they both look at the pictures"You will borrow me your camera, I want to print this picture out". He says, Aurora claps and goes back to the other pictures.

She picks a yellow wrapped gift"From grandma, I love you my grand baby, sorry I couldn't come for your birthday but grandma loves you". She reads, here comes the waterworks, no, no, no

She smiles before she tears the wrapping paper and trust me she tore the wrapping paper aggressively,
"An envelope". She tilts her head before she turns the envelope upside down and money falls out.

"Ouu money". She cooes"Mommy? How much is-".

"Around 5000 dollars". Augustus replies and shrugs when he sees my widened eyes, she gave a four years old five thousand dollars! Damn.

"Next presence". She says, the maids helps her pack the money on the floor and passes it to me, I would open a bank account or trust fund for her with the money just for future use.

"From aunt fee, Happy Birthday my tiny cupcake". She reads out, she shakes the box before she tears it open"Ouuu, pretty shoes". She kicks the box then sits on the floor to wear the shoes

"Mommy, daddy, look". She twirls in her doc martens, those shoes are expensive like she didn't have to spend that amount on her.

"They look so good on you". Augustus says, she claps then goes for the next gift"From Mommy, I love you trouble". Jesus, my gift already, like I thought

"Ouu mommy". She wiggles her shoulders looking at the green wrapped gift, she turns to the gift and tears it open the wrapping paper to see a small gift

"Pretty". She opens the gift to see the pandora charm bracelet I bought for her, she flings the box away and put the bracelet on her wrist then jiggles it
