I sigh holding on to my toddler's arm once we reached the diner that I was supposed to meet my future brother-in-law, her mom kicked us out of the hotel because she needed some alone time without "her two kids". Gee, a boyfriend into a kid.

I put on my baseball cap and walk into the diner with Aurora, I scan the table to look for her brother
Dark eyes, built like he could kill me, black hair. My eyes goes to the table with the man who had those features"Hello Ashton?". I called once we settle on a chair opposite his own seat.

He looks up at me and his jaw clenches, I mean I didn't expect a hug or a kiss on the cheek"You're the fucker that got my sister pregnant and didn't care to check on the woman you slept with". He claims.

Shit, bad start indeed"yeah, I have no excuse for that but I promise you that I'm ready to spend a lifetime trying to make it up for both of them". He looks at me before he lifts Aurora from her seat and kisses her forehead.

"Missed me trouble?".

"Ofc I missed you uncle Ashton, can I have some of your fries please". She pouts, he nods shoving the bowl of fries to her and sits her back down.

"Spending a lifetime would never make up for all the pain she went through, she spent 12 hours pushing out Aurora and you weren't there to clean the blood or the vomit to hear her pain and screams".

"I know, I'm sad that I couldn't be there for Aurora's labor but I will be there for the next one". I muttered the last part, he looks ready to punch my face.

"I'm going to pretend as if I didn't hear that, indigo said I shouldn't hurt your pretty face so consider yourself lucky,What are your plans for both of them or you want my sister to be your baby mama for-".

"No, she's my girlfriend and the mother of my child. The baby mama sounds inappropriate to me but I plan on spending the rest of my life with her and my child". She's more than my baby mama, that woman makes my fucking heart squeeze When I'm in her presence.

"To spend the rest of your life with her while she's married to someone else and you've hoes?".

I scowled, the thought of her married to someone else rather than me makes the thought of going to jail for murder not as bad as it seemed"Married to me? I don't have hoes, I freaking love your sister".

He scoffed"You are famous, ofc you have hoes".

"Because I'm famous doesn't mean I have hoes, the only person I have eyes on or the only person that makes the world look like fucking- Aurora don't say that word- rainbows and flowers is your sister. She loves me and I loved her since college and I still love her right now even more than you even know". I huff
How dare he questions the love I have for his sister

He smiled"Great to know, I'm glad my sister is with a man who gets mad when someone questions the love he has for her".

"It's the bare minimum to be honest, any more questions you want to say to piss me off?". It was a joke, indigo warned me not to throw any hands on him.

"I would love to but Indigo warned me not to beat your pretty face so consider yourself lucky today". He throws back, this mf was teasing me.
