I thought I would never miss California but being in Canada made me realize I'm grateful for the hot sun, Canada is too cold for me, We arrived in California in six hours and I have never been so damn happy to be standing could literally kiss the airport floor. The last two days we spent there was amazing, we went to an ice rink and I taught Aurora how to skate and indigo, We watched a movie together without our phones and took a lot of pictures that I'll be framing

I load our luggage in the back of the car and slide in the car hoisting Aurora on my lap as the driver starts driving"That was the hospital I was born in". I point at the small hospital, St Mary's memorial hospital. I watched the video of my mom giving to me a few years might binge watch it again just for fun.

She cooes still looking at the hospital even tho we pass by it"Mommy, what hospital was in born it?". Curiosity in her eyes and also mine, does she still have medical debts that I can pay for her? Or was there any complications during her labor.

"Southern California hospital was the hospital that I gave birth you to, you came out of her stomach after six hours of labour since you didn't want to come out immediately and do you want to know something special baby?". She strokes her hair, adoration in her eyes as she looks at our daughter.

"What mama?".

"I had nine months to fall in love and I did but when you came out of my stomach Aurora, I fell in love with you all over again and watching you grow and smile at me like you do made me realize that I can and I would burn the world for you or kill for you, You made me a mommy and there's no title I love the most than being your mother". She grins, tears threatening to fall from her beautiful eyes, I hate it when she cries, it makes some part of me want to kill anyone who makes a tears leave her eyes.

Aurora looks at her mother, stretching her hands for her to take her. Indigo takes her and hugs her"I love you too mommy, I love being your daughter- you and daddy's daughter right daddy?". She says pulling me into the hug, it feels right being in this embrace.

"Ofc. Being your daddy is the biggest achievement". It's to be honest, I have won trophies and medals but seeing his little girl happy and smiling is the biggest trophy and medal that I have ever received.

"I don't want to cry, Gangster's don't cry". Aurora laughs wiping her face with her back hand, gangster my ass? You're my little bundle of joy in my life.

"You're no gangster Aurora". Indigo laughs pulling her cheeks, she stops when Aurora's pale cheek turn bright red from probably embarrassment.

"Daddy would you come for my bring your parent's to school day please, everyone said their daddy has the best job but they don't know my daddy has the best job of hitting people". She grins putting a lot of emphasis on the hitting part, it's a contact sport.

She talks about me to her friends? She talks about me to her classmates, fuck. I curse feeling the urge to cry right now, she was already show me off to her friends"if my trouble wants me to come then I'll come, when is it?". She smirks, mischief in her eyes.

"Tomorrow at 3pm, you're supposed to bring a snack for the class and the teacher. It's tradition daddy".

"Tomorrow? What? Why didn't you say-".
