A few weeks later
We've been in the car for a while now and I still don't know where we're going. In the last few days we just drove around and Klaus questioned people. I wasn't particularly interested in it* so I don't know what he wants to know or plans to do.
Klaus sits at the front at the steering wheel, Stefan next to him on the passenger seat and I stretch out in the back. I've been trying to sleep the whole time, but somehow I can't. I'm sitting here, leaning my head against the window pane, my eyes closed and half asleep.
That means I'm sleeping, but I still notice what's happening around me. Since I've been sitting like this for a few hours and haven't moved a bit, I sit up normally again and look at Klaus.
"When are we finally there?" I sigh annoyed.
"We'll be there soon
»And what does soon! mean? I'm hungry and I need to go to the bathroom!" I whine.
Klaus looks at me from the rearview mirror and rolls his eyes.
Klaus stops at a diner and the three of us go in. I amble towards the toilet while Klaus and
Stefan sit down. In the toilet, I pull out my cell phone and look at my missed ones
messages to.
Elena, Damon and the others have been texting me and trying to call me constantly since we left. However, I couldn't talk to them on the phone because Klaus was always nearby
"Vivian?" I hear Damon's voice after calling him.
I turn on the faucet just to make sure Klaus can't overhear us.
"Hi, I wanted to tell you and the others that we are fine and wanted to ask how you are? You're perfectly healthy again, aren't you?"
»Yes, Klaus blood worked. Where are you? We'll come and get you."
"I can't tell you, I'm sorry. Don't try to find us It's too dangerous otherwise, I have
Fear that Klaus will kill one of you. I have to hang up now."
Before he could say anything else, I hung up. Now I turn off the tap and freshen up for a moment.
I come out of the toilet and look for Klaus and Stefan. As soon as I see them, I approach them and sit next to Stefan.
Five minutes later a waitress comes over and serves us.
"Hello, what can I get you?" she asks with a smile on her face.
Klaus looks her up and down and the waitress then smiles at Klaus.
I just roll my eyes in annoyance.
"I'd like a chocolate milkshake." I talk in to break their eye contact.
"A Coke for me." Stefan orders.
"And you can bring me a jar of your blood." Klaus manipulates the waitress.
When the waitress disappears, I see Klaus
"For real? In a diner!? That's way too obvious!"
"Do me a favor and mind your own business, dear."
"My name is Vivian!"
Klaus looks at me with a grin, but doesn't say anything.
When the waitress comes back with our orders, I immediately drink my milkshake. Of course, Klaus also got his blood.
"I don't know when it was the last time you had a coke." I laugh and look at Stefan. "Well, about time again." he smiles at me.
Stefan and I talk for a while and Klaus just watches us. Neither of us want to talk to him as we both don't like him. Understandable of course.
