Lily sat at her window watching the small raindrops hit the glass with a soft splash before sliding down into a puddle on the windowsill. When it rained she would spend hours just sitting there watching each drop fall from the sky, to her it was calming - another plus to living in the always gloomy London. She hadn't talked to Ashton much during the week that just passed, she just wanted to focus on being alone for a little bit. In this time she had bought two large canvases that were almost the length from the ceiling to floor of her apartment, she wasn't sure what she'd do on them yet but she was waiting for a special idea. She was still having nightmares but had managed to contain her screaming when she woke up, but now while she was awake she was cursed with killer headaches. Although today was her lucky day, her headache was minimal and she had a job interview at the local tattoo parlor, she was exatic. That's what her and Ashton had talked about the last time they had seen each other, he gave her a peptalk and said he knew she would get this job, she was made for it. She felt good about herself today and didn't feel the need to cover her tattoos and scars, tattoo parlors were one of the few places these days that was discrimination free with those types of things.

She walked to the parlor knowing that it was only a few minutes away, the cold wind hitting her exposed skin gave her a rush along with the rain that had turned into a light sprinkle, everything was looking up at the moment. She pushed open the shop door which made the small bell above it ring, the young girl behind the desk smiled at her as she walked towards it,

"How can I help you today?" a toothy grin appeared on her face, exposing her smiley piercing within her mouth,

"I have a job interview with Dave" she began rocking on her heels. The shop smelt of lemon and the heating was blaring making it toasty.

"You must be Lily, come with me then" Lily followed the slim girl to the back of the shop, stopping at a wooden door with 'Dave' scratched into it. The girl slammed loudly on the door with the side of her fist,

"Yo Dave, your new recruit is here" a grunt came from behind the door which resulted in the girl opening the door for Lily, "good luck"

Lily cautiously walked into the small office, the man she assumed as Dave was sitting at his desk, his boots resting on top of it as he read through sheets of paper,

"Lily Miller I assume?" he chuckled as Lily sat down in the large leather chair opposite him. She examined the hundreds on tattoos that covered his body, barely being able to see any bare skin, she could even see tattoos hidden behind this bushy beard. She nodded remembering that he asked her a question, "It's nice to see that you've got some tattoos yourself my lady"

Personally, Lily felt that the interview went well, Dave gushed over her work that she showed him, none of which being on actual human skin. Dave said that he had two more interviews after Lily and would get back to her tomorrow, adding that he thought she had it in the bag already. As soon as she got home she called Ashton, over the moon happy with how her day was going, he answered almost straight away and she filled him in on all the news. He was happy as she was and said that he would be over soon to celebrate, Lily did feel that it was a tad too early to celebrate, she hadn't actually got the job just yet but spending some quality time with Ashton couldn't be declined. Like promised, he was over in a flash, hugging her as soon as she opened the door to let him in. The two ended up doing their usual thing, lounging around on Lily's bed, discussing current topics and art - which Ashton knew little about but just liked listening to Lily be so passionate about. He just watched her go on about her favourite artists and pieces as she stared up at the ceiling, him just on his side watching her every move and how happy she currently was. While Lily was talking her phone buzzed on the bed next to her, Ashton grabbing it before she could even roll onto her side to get it,
