"На позиции," (In position.) The Soldier said, through your ear piece.

"Копировать," (Copy.) You said, standing on the top of a building, looking down at the highway where you could see the Soldier, in position with more soldiers behind him. "Вызов Мстителей сейчас." (Calling the Avengers now.)

Pressing a button on your wrist, it notified the Avengers the coast was clear. Little did they know, Hydra was waiting for them.

You saw the team rush onto the highway, but they were met with bullets.

You could see Steve looking around, trying to find you.

You climbed down the building with your rope, swinging yourself onto the highway.

Twirling your dagger in your hand, you came up behind Natasha, hitting her in the shoulder.

She stumbled, turning around and almost screaming.

"Traitor," She whispered.

You both started fighting each other, her with her hands and you with a dagger in your hand.

She punched the knife out of your hand, and you stumbled back.

"Y/n!" You heard the Soldier shout.

"Оставайтесь на цели!" (Stay on target!) You yelled, avoiding swings of fists from Natasha.

You kicked Natasha off her feet, and she tripped you in the process.

You both got up, pistols in your hand.

You circled each other.

"I'm giving you a chance," Natasha said. "A chance to tell us where the Hydra base is, turn in James, and we'll let you go."

You looked at the Soldier, who had Steve in a chokehold. The Soldier locked eyes with you.

"No," You said, cocking your gun, but it was too late.

Natasha had fired two bullets in your chest, and you dropped your pistol, falling onto the ground.

"NOO!" The Soldier screamed, dropping Steve and running towards you.

Natasha pointed her gun at him, but he paid no attention, as he gathered you into his arms.

"Y/n? Y/n? Please, please," The Soldier said.

"James," You croaked. "I...love...you."

"No, no, please!" The Soldier said.

He placed his hand on your wrist, trying to feel your heartbeat.

He could feel it go "Thump, thump" but after a minute, the thump was gone.

You were dead.

The Soldier screamed, and Steve gathered the team, running away.

"СТРЕЛЯЙТЕ ИЗ ОРУЖИЯ! УБИТЬ ИХ ВСЕХ!" (FIRE YOUR GUNS! KILL THEM ALL!) The Soldier ordered, your lifeless body still tight in his arms.

But they were gone.

The Soldier sobbed into your hair, clutching you tightly.

"I love you too,"
