Summary: You've been off in college for 4 years now, studying law. You were kicked out, and told to never come back, because you were dating the ex-assassin, Bucky Barnes. Returning home, you tell no one that you were kicked out. But things occur.

Closing your car door, you stopped when you stood in front of the Avengers Compound. The Compound you haven't seen in almost 4 years.

Sighing, you shot Tony a quick message that said, "I'm here."

You saw at the top of the Compound, the windows, and the Avengers huddled around, screaming in joy when they saw you. It made you smile a little.

They disappeared from the window, and a few seconds later, they burst through the front door, wrapping you into hugs.

"Oh my God, we've missed you!" Natasha said.

"Y/n! Welcome back!" Steve said.

"Finally squirt! Was startin' to get worried!" Tony said.

"Did you bring any snacks for me?" Scott joked.

"Hey doll," Bucky said, pulling you away from anyone and into him. You kissed his lips, missing the feeling of his lips on yours.

"I missed you," You said.

"I missed you more," Bucky said, his eyes watering. "Please don't ever leave again."

"She's only staying for a few days," Steve said, sadness in his voice. "I'm pretty sure this is holiday break."

The only person who knew the truth was Tony. You looked at him, and he looked at you, looking back at the ground.

"Right?" Steve said. You placed your head on Bucky's chest, and Bucky messed with the tips of your hair.

"I got kicked out," You said, quietly.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted, having you tense and Bucky grip you tighter.

"Why?" Steve asked.

"It's a long story," You said, pulling away from Bucky and going back to your car. You grabbed your backpack and duffel bags, going back into the Compound.

You left everyone outside, going back to your old room.

Your bed was neatly made, there were boxes of gifts, your desk with new supplies, your vines still hung, and pictures of you and Bucky remained.

Lightly grazing the photos, you placed your bags on the ground.

You turned around to see Bucky, leaning against the doorframe.

"Will you tell me?" He asked, walking towards you and wrapping his arms around your waist. You mirrored his motions.

You didn't answer for awhile.

Bucky didn't say anything either. He continued to hold you, placing kisses on your head.

"They didn't approve of who I was with," You said, after awhile. Bucky pulled away, looking down at you.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"They didn't like who I was seeing," You said, avoiding contact. Bucky tilted your chin up to look at him.

"It's me, isn't it?" He said. Your eyes welled with tears. "Oh, doll."

"I'm not going back," You said, holding your tears. "I don't wanna go back. Because I want to be with you. I don't, and I won't, listen to them. I'm not leaving you."

Bucky unwrapped his arms from you.

"Think about it," He said. "You should go back. Don't let me-"

"No, Bucky!" You said. "I don't want to end a relationship that is strong because some person wants me to end my relationship. I'll find another job! I want to be with you."

Bucky didn't answer. He turned, and walked out the door.

You didn't go to dinner.

You didn't go to breakfast.

You didn't train.

You didn't talk.

You didn't study.

Instead, for 2 whole days, you sat against your bed.

Did Bucky break up with you?

"No," You thought. "He asked me to think. And I have been thinking. I'm not going back."

-Bucky's POV- (Last Night.)

Bucky sat at the dinner table, the Avengers surrounded around the table, eating dinner. But Y/n was missing.

"Buck, where's Y/n?" Steve asked.

Bucky didn't answer. He flicked his eyes from Steve's to his bowl.

"She got kicked out because of me," Bucky said, low. "Because she's dating me."

"Holy shit," Tony said. "Seriously? What'd you say?"

"That she should go back," Bucky said.

"You can't leave her," Steve said. "She fucking loves you. Can't you see that? You guys called every night. She texts us how much she loves you. Makes sure you're okay when you're not answering. Bucky she'll kill herself if you leave her."

Bucky thought.

For the rest of dinner, Y/n never showed up.

The next day, she didn't show up for breakfast. For training. For a brief meeting. For anything.

Bucky started to worry.

Was Y/n okay?

-Y/n POV-

You played your comfort song, while getting into the shower. You washed your hair and your body, before stepping out and wrapping yourself in a lavender towel.

Opening your bathroom door, you opened your wardrobe. You pulled on a white crop top, grey fleece jacket, grey sweatpants, and white high-tops.

Waving your hair, you also applied hoop earrings.

You took a deep breath, before walking out of your room.

Your stomach grumbled.

Time for some food.

You walked down into the kitchen.

You found Bucky, Steve, Natasha, Tony, and Bruce.

"There you are, Y/n!" Steve said. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," You said, opening the fridge door and pulling out some fruits.

You avoided eye contact with Bucky, chopping your fruits and placing them into your coconut bowls that you have missed using.

You brought your bowl out to the porch, sitting down on one of the lounge chairs, criss-cross, eating your breakfast.

The sliding door opened, and Bucky sat down in front of you.

You looked down at him, before back in front of you.

"I'm sorry," He whispered.

"For what?" You asked.

"For thinking badly yesterday," He said. "Please don't leave me."

You raised an eyebrow.

"I thought that you wanted to end things," You whispered.

"I got upset," Bucky said. "I didn't want you to stop studying something you love because of me."

"I want to stop studying because of you," You said, setting your bowls aside and grabbing Bucky's hands. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. School or no school, I choose you Bucky. But you have to accept me into your life first."

Bucky leaned upwards, and you pecked his lips.

"I'm not going anywhere," You said. "I choose you, Bucky Barnes."
