Bucky and you got into an argument about you getting hurt all the time. He stormed out, having you hurt yourself more.

You crept silently through the Compound kitchen, maina rea, hallways, and into your room.

Without any warning, a pair of hands, one freezing and one warm, quickly grabbed you, having you yelp.

"You're back!" Bucky exclaimed, smiling through tears.

"Mhm!" You said, smiling, hiding the pain. 

You had been shot in the shoulder, and you had even promised Bucky you wouldn't get hurt.

Bucky eyed you.

"Doll," He said. "You're in-"

He stopped when he noticed the band-aid around your shoulder.

He quickly let go, his lip trembling when he saw it. He looked at you.

"You got shot?" He said.

"Bucky, I didn't-"

"I told you I should've gone instead!" Bucky said. "You knew I was right! Why? How could you let this happen?!"

"Bucky, I didn't know I was gonna get hurt," You said. 

"And it's your left arm!" Bucky said. "I should've gone. It wouldn't have hurt me."

"Thank you, Bucky," You said, taking off your shirt, revealing brusies.

"Y/N!" He yelled, having you jump. "You're seriously injured! Why did you-"

"Bucky, I'm fine!" You said. "Bruce already checked me! I'll be better in a week!"

"A week?" Bucky said. "Baby doll, you really should've let me go."

You pulled on one of Bucky's sweaters.

"Well, to late now-" You started, spinning to around to face him, but he had already walked out the door.

=1 Week Later=

=Avengers POV=

"Have any of you guys seen Y/n?" Natasha asked, rushing into the main room where all the other Avengers sat. "It's our girl day today, and she's 2 hours late. She's never late!"

"Haven't seen her," Steve said.

"I haven't seen her in a week," Tony said.

"And you guys haven't bothered to look for her?" Bucky said.

"Hey, we thought she was with you," Tony said. "Speaking of which, are you guys okay? You've been on your own."

"Yeah, I'm fine," Bucky said.

"Yeah, clearly, you are," Tony said.

"Tony," Steve said, tilting his head.

"What?" Tony said. "James. Where is she?"
