"How is she?" Vader asked.
Loki Laufeyson and Bucky Barnes turned to see, the one and only, Darth Vader.
"You were her comfort character?" Loki asked. "A guy in a black suit in a mask? With buttons?"
"10 years ago," Vader said.
"She's not talking to us," Bucky said, his arms crossed. "We can only watch her tear herself apart. But she won't talk. To anyone."
"Have you tried approaching her?" Vader asked.
"We only can when she's not wearing these things on her head," Loki said.
"Headphones," Bucky said. "She won't be able to hear us. And she has them on all the time."
"Maybe she's avoiding you for a reason," Vader said.
"She must know we know there's something wrong," Bucky said.
"If only we could talk to her," Loki whispered.
"But she can see you?" Vader asked.
Bucky and Loki nodded.
Slowly, Vader slowly made his way out to where the girl was.
He stood in front of her, and she sat up.
Taking off her headphones, she stood up from her bed.
"Vader?" She whispered. "What—what are you—"
"Your new comfort characters told me you weren't talking to them," Vader said. "I came to help."
She looked at him, slowly shaking her head.
"No," She said, sitting back down. "It hurts too much."
Vader looked back at Loki and Bucky, nodding his head.
Loki and Bucky slowly approached, Loki sitting behind her, and Bucky in front.
Bucky placed his hands on top of hers, Loki's hands on her shoulders.
"Please," Loki said. "Talk to us. You know we're here."
She didn't answer.
She slowly reached her hand out, to feel Bucky. To make sure he was there.
But her hands went right through him. Just a faint outline.
She started crying.
"No, no," Bucky said. "Don't cry. Please, don't cry doll. Can't see you cry."
"You're not real," She sobbed.
"Shh," Loki said. "We may not be real, but we're still here."
"But one day you'll disappear," She continued, still crying. "You'll leave me."
"We could never," Bucky said. "You know we can't do that."
Even though Loki wasn't actually there, she could feel his fingers run through her hair.
"I'm scared," She said, her body starting to shake. "That I'll lose him. That I'll lose everyone. Everything I love, will be gone. That I'll never make it. I'll never be able to work with Sebastian—or that I'll lose the man that I actually love. What am I supposed to do? How can I feel this any more?"
Loki and Bucky exchanged looks, sighing.
They both moved closer.
"It's okay," Bucky said.
"You'll make it," Loki said. "And we'll be there the whole time."
She shook her head, tears running down her face, as she slowly started to put her headphones back on.
"No—" Bucky said, but once the headphones touched her ears, they were teleported away from her.
"She'll make it," Vader said. "She's strong."
"She has always been," Loki said.
"She's our little girl,"
