Summary: You're a senior in high school, who's gone for apparently too long.

You impatiently stared at the bell on the wall, waiting for it to hit 1:45.

You drummed your fingers on your desk, droning out on the teacher's talking and thinking about your boyfriend, Bucky.

How he smiled when you got home, how he held you, how he protectively looked at you and then everyone, he was the definition of perfect.

The bell rang, having you jump from your seat and zoom out of class, quickly grabbing all your things for home and heading out of the school.

You didn't have friends at school, but you were totally cool with it. Who needs friends when you have the Avengers as family?

Smiling to yourself, you walked down the stairs to of your school, meeting up with Happy.

"Hi Happy!" You said, doing your little handshake with him.

"Hey Y/n," He said, smiling at you before opening the car door for you.

You were suddenly really excited to see Bucky.

As soon as the car stopped in front of the Compound, you swung open the door and ran into the Compound.

"Bucky! Bucky!" You cried, dropping your stuff on the ground.

"Y/NNNN!!!" Bucky shouted, jumping up from the couch and racing to you, picking you up in his arms and spinning you around, before crashing his lips onto yours.

"You guys are SO ADORABLE!" Natasha whined, coming into the room with the rest of the team.

"Hey doll," Bucky said, when he pulled away.

"Hi Bucky," You said, smiling. "Miss me?"

"Terribly," Bucky complained, kissing your lips again. "You were gone for too long."

"It's my last year of school," You reminded him. "And then you can have me every day, all day, until you get tired of me."

"But I'll never get tired of you," Bucky pouted.

You smiled at him.

When you usually got home, you and Bucky would snuggle up on your bed, while you read your book and he read his.

He was reading "The 1619 Project" and you were reading "Pride & Prejudice" for your school assignment.

You were snuggled against his chest, reading your book, his arms around you and lightly resting his book on your back.

"This okay?" He asked, softly, and you nodded.

"Love you," You mumbled.

"Love you more, doll," He said, kissing your hair.

You guys stayed like that for about an hour and a half, the only sound filling the room was the pages turning and your breathing.

"Dinner's ready," Steve said, poking his head into the room.

Bucky nodded, gently putting his book down before lifting you off his chest and placing you on your feet on the ground.

You put your book down, before following him downstairs, his fingers laced with yours.

You guys sat down, him pulling your chair closer to him so your arms were touching.

He forked the carnitas onto your plate, before pecking your head.

Everyone ate dinner, talking about everyone's day, your grades (bleh, school), the news, etc.

You and Bucky did the dishes, starting to fight with the bubbly soap, having both of you laugh and chase each other around the island.

"Bucky, you got something on your shirt," You lied.

"Where?" He asked, looking down, and you quickly used your hand to place the soap on him.

"Heyy, Y/nn!" He groaned. "Not fair!"

You started giggling uncontrollably, clutching your stomach and using the island to support you.

"Works every time," You said, and he rolled his eyes, getting the soap off him.

You both finished the dishes, before going back upstairs.

You and Bucky took turns taking a shower, before getting into comfortable clothing and into bed.

You guys were watching "10 Things I Hate About You", about 30 minutes each night.

You snuggled up against him, nuzzling into neck, your eyes still on the TV.

"Did you know I love you?" Bucky said, holding you tighter against him.

"Did you know that I love you?" You said back, looking up at him.

He looked down at you, smiling, as you both pressed your lips against each other.

"Can you just stay here, forever?" Bucky asked, pouting his bottom lip.

"I have to go to school, Bucky," You said, tucking hair behind his ear. "Only for a few more months."

"Too long," Bucky whined. "Please just stay, Y/n. I need you."

You sighed, turning to look back at the TV.

"I can take tomorrow off," You said.

"Really?" Bucky said, a hint of excitement in his voice.

"And I'll talk to Tony about pulling me out of school," You added.

"Yes! Yes! Please, doll," Bucky said. "You would make me the happiest man on Earth."

"Whatever it takes," You said, before kissing his lips once more.
