Based of the song "Tag You're It" by Melanie Martinez.

Summary: Y/n has a nightmare about Rumlow. When Y/n panics, she seems to not focus on what's around her, and just keeps repeating the same words.

-Bucky's POV-

There was an ear-splitting scream that caused Bucky to jolt upright.

He turned to see his girlfriend, Y/n, gripping at the covers, her whole body shaking and a bead of sweat coating her forehead.

Her best friend Wanda came racing through the door.

"What happened?" Wanda asked.

"I--I don't know," Bucky said. "Y/n? Doll?"

"What happened?" Wanda said.

"Running through the parking lot, he chased me and he wouldn't stop," Y/n said, shakily, backing up against the headboard. "'Tag, you're it. Tag, tag, you're it.' He grabbed my hand and pushed me down, took the words right out my mouth saying 'tag, you're it. Tag, tag, you're it."

"Who?" Bucky said, grabbing at Y/n's hands that were ice cold.

She flinched and pulled her hands away.

"Tag, tag, you're it," She repeated.

"Who?" Bucky said.

Wanda's face was in a frozen expression.

"Wanda?" Bucky said. "What happened?"

Using her powers, Wanda created a projectile of what Y/n's dream was.

She was running through a parking lot, and someone seemed to be shouting. A familiar voice.

Y/n suddenly screamed, and she was pushed to the ground.

She looked up at the person.

Rumlow.

Bucky's eyes widened, and he grabbed Y/n, pulling her against him.

This was a dream that seemed to be real. And Y/n sure was not letting go of it.

The next morning, Y/n wasn't in bed.

Panicking, Bucky threw on some clothes and raced to the main room, to see the whole teamed huddled around a terrified Y/n.

She had a piece of paper in front of her, an envelope next to her.

Her hand was shaking, and everyone looked up when Bucky entered, except Y/n.

"Tag, you're it," She whispered.

Bucky snatched the paper from her hands, scanning the empty piece of paper.

But right splat in the middle, were three words.

Tag, you're it.
