The sounds of hiccups and soft crying is the only sounds I could hear, and it was all coming from me. I find myself surrounded by total darkness, unsure of how long I have been in here.
"I...I didn't mean to..." I complain to myself, regretting that I had hurt Ink before coming here. I didn't know what came over me when that happened.
An echo of soft footsteps approaching me makes me pause in my crying. I look up to see a somewhat familiar face yet not at the same time. Is that...and Error?
"Heya. Long time no see." He says. I stare at him in confusion, wondering what he means. His already non-existent smile drops. He sighs, scratching his head. "Guess you don't remember me then? Then again, I look much more different from before." He bends down to my level. He gives a small wave. "...Name's Error. Well...the original Error. Nice to meet you again ☠︎✌︎💣︎☜︎."
I freeze upon that. That name sounds so...familiar...Wasn't that my...?
"Wasn't that your name from your past life?" OG Error asks with a grin, chuckling a bit. He sits down beside me, giving me a tired smile. "You must have a ton of questions, eh?"
"I...I do, but...I'm sorry. I took your body without warning. I...I don't know how to give it back to you..."
"Don't worry, it was I who chose to give you my body." I pause at that. Why would he...? OG Error glances my way, I choke back my question. But...he answered what was unspoken. "...I didn't want to see my friend suffer anymore."
"We were...friends? In my past life?" I ask because I don't remember such a thing. My very first ever friend was Ink. So why don't I remember?
"Of course, you wouldn't remember. You were only 6 years old when I died in that accident."
I try to remember back to when I was 6 years old, trying to remember why that sounded familiar to me. When I put the pieces together, I find myself shocked. I look at OG Error, my mouth, twitching. He laughs at that.
"Guess you figured it out huh? Yes, I'm your dad."
"But...how? This doesn't make any sense. I mean, Undertale was considered a game from there. And you look nothing like dad."
"What you're seeing is my soul, I'm not here. But...let me change to what you find familiar." OG Error says as a shine glows from him. Suddenly, he turned into a human. I find myself shedding tears because he does look like him...That means he is...dad...
"Heya, nice to see you again. Missed me?"
"Pa..." I hiccup once again, going for a hug. Dad pats my back, talking in a whisper.
"Forgive me. I wasn't there to protect you as a dad should have. I didn't think I'd die so soon. Life can be so cruel sometimes..."
"How...how is this possible? What happened to you dad?"
"To sum it up, I jumped into your dimension. Just like you, I too was an FGOD. The only difference was I was trying to end my life by doing that. And I lost my magic once I entered there. There, I met your mother and settled down. That peace was enough for me." Dad explained.
The silence was soothing to me. Just the fact that I got to see my dad after so long was enough to brighten my depressed mood. I wanted to forever stay like this, with my dad and friend in the whole world. There was so much we could catch up on. We could be a family again...
A rumbling sound begins to shake the space. I look around in confusion, seeing small cracks of white forming around us. "What's happening?" I ask, worried.
"My time is coming to an end," Dad says without warning. I look at him in confusion as he lets go and backs up. What does he...mean? Suddenly, small cracks begin to form all over him, and my eyes widen, scared and unsure of what is happening to him. "...The body can't take the both of us being together inside of it. So one of us must go. I'm sorry, I wish we had more time together..."
"You're leaving? No...we had so much to catch up on. I don't want you to leave me. Please! Just 5 more minutes. Any more minutes! Stay!" I shout.
Dad shakes his head as small pieces begin to fall off of him. "It was bound to happen. My multiverse died off a long time ago. I'm only here because my body was what was used to bring you here. Now that I have left the Anti-Void, that means your body is now complete. You know us Errors...always do what we want." He chuckles.
I run up to him, giving him one last hug. As much as I want to cry, I know he wouldn't want to be sent off like that. So...I give a huge smile. "Yeah..."
"Goodbye, my Little Pea."
Suddenly, dad dissipates. Disappearing. I find myself hugging nothing but the air. The cracks all around me start to burst away. I begin to fall into the white. This...hurts...
I don't know how much time has passed, but I slowly begin to open my eyes. The first thing I see is Geno. He stares at me with a shocked expression. I look down to see he's been impaled by a bone. By...me. I freeze up on this.
"GENO!!!"
Geno coughs up blood. "Good to see...you're... awake...no...w..." Geno says as he slowly turns to dust. I fall to the floor, looking at my hands in horror. What have I done?
