Say yes to heaven

"Do I need to give you some instructions?" Tyler confusingly asked Alice as the two stood behind the counter in the closed cafe. "Or do you already know everything? I doubt I'll give you some new knowledge."
"I believe practice will teach me everything I need, but you can give me a tour." Alice replied as she was about to step a foot forward closer.
"No, no," Tyler quickly stopped her from doing anything. "Before you do anything, you need to dress the right way."
"And that is?" Alice watched as Tyler took her own apron out of the cabinet and gave it to her. "Of course, how could I've been so oblivious?" She took the apron out of his hands and unraveled it to reveal it. "It actually looks half-bad compared to how I imagined it, I felt always bad that you had to wear it."
Tyler rolled his eyes at her comment and ordered her. "Turn around, I'll help you put it on."
Alice put the apron against her body for Tyler to take the two strings, surrounding her waist, and tie them around her. He slowly put his hands on her hips and gently wrapped his hands around her waist, tying a small bow on the back.
She could feel his fingers on opposite sides of her body, how they tingled with each move, sending goosebumps. Even if she was turned around, she could already tell where each of his hand's part was on her.
His eyes always stayed down until it came to tying the ties on her neck. Alice lifted up her hair, revealing her bare neck with a couple of necklaces and showing off Tyler her scent, secretly looking at him from behind with one eye to see his facial expression.
Tyler put his cold hands against her warm skin and slowly did the same with those two ties as before. Alice quietly moaned in pleasure and tilted her head. "You know what this reminds me of?"
Tyler smirked at her comment as he moved in closer to her, putting his head on her left shoulder. "What?"
Alice turned around, Tyler keeping his hands on her waist, and wrapped her hands around his neck. "Our first night together...and how you used your hands so well..."
"I did?" Tyler seducingly asked as he kept moving backward with Alice, following each of his steps.
"...And how you made me feel alive..."
"I made you feel re-born?"
"You made me feel more than that." At that, they reached the end of the counter and were right in front of each other, staring at each other's lips. "And I want that again."
Their faces were as close as ever and they, themselves, were as close as ever to taking each other's clothes, but that was interrupted by Nancy's sudden walk-in when they were seconds away from kissing each other. They heard the bell and Alice gasped, pulling away from Tyler and fixing herself up.
"How are things going on for you, guys?" She cheerfully asked, thank God she didn't see a single thing. "Sorry, Tyler, if she's a handful, she probably just wants to prepare really well. If she's asking you a million questions, I give you permission to shut her up however you want."
"Uh, no worries," Tyler told her as he looked at Alice, and Nancy walked over to the counter. "She's fun to work with anyways."
Alice shot Tyler a death glare as if she was trying to tell him to stay silent and let her do the talking. "What are you doing here so late anyways?" The girl tried changing the subject. "I told you, I was going to be okay and didn't need you."
"Can't I come to check how things are running in my own restaurant?"
"Next time, try using daytime."
Nancy understood Alice was joking, she didn't take it too seriously. "I've come here to drop off the letter from Nevermore." She handed an envelope to her. "They definitely took their time with the packaging."
Alice quickly snatched it from her hand to inspect it and noticed how the opening was stitched up. "I'm guessing you already know the results?"
"Yes, but only because I wanted you two to have your own moment when you found it out yourself," Nancy explained. "Anyways, that's it from me."
The girl followed her aunt with her eyes until she was entirely gone and turned to Tyler while opening the envelope.
"How are you not freaking out?" He asked her confused.
"Because I know I got in, see?" She showed him the huge green mark in the letter. "I anticipated it from the start."
"Well, even if you knew you were going to get in, I would still like to give you a present." He told her as he turned around and took a present, nicely wrapped in gift paper.
Alice stared at him in surprisement. "You shouldn't have."
"Well, I already did."
The girl giggled to herself and took the present out of his hands. She carefully opened it, not knowing what it is, and saw a book.
"The outstanding world of journalism: different journalism cultures? You think I don't have this book yet?" Alice softly chuckled.
"No, I mean, I may have thought you did, but I didn't want to make the mistake of losing such a great present." Tyler quickly ranted. "But if you have one then I can return it-"
"No, it's just what I needed, I left my own copy back in Minneapolis, so this is great," She held the book close to her chest and smiled. "Thank you."
"Don't mention it," Tyler brushed it off. "Shall we finally start?"
"Oh, yeah, sorry." Alice quickly put the book away in the cabinets and got ready to hear the tour. "My biggest fear is this place having too many things to find."
"You won't have to worry about that, there's the main machine, the drip, the additional cleaning items, stacked food in the fridge and everything else you pretty much know. Or did you already know everything I just said?" Tyler concluded talking with the realization.
"Yeah, I kinda did," Alice inhlaed sharply. "But, hey, that means I already know everything there is to know about this place."
"Well, there isn't much to know," Tyler heavily sighed as he looked around the empty cafe. "Everyday it seems as if less and less people are coming here. It's slowly becoming a ghostown, just like Jericho itself."
"Yeah, unfortunately. I remember a few years ago the town was packed and now, it's nothing." Alice agreed before sighing and turning to Tyler. "Well, I guess I better get home, it's getting pretty late."
She took off her apron and put it away in the cabinet, taking her book and purse with it as well. Tyler watched how she got ready, but stopped her before she left. "Can I take you on a date? On a real date, somewhere different than here."
Alice looked deep into his eyes and smiled. "Sure, I would love to. Do you have anything in mind?"
"Do you like surprises?"
"I do, but if you tell you have one, I won't stop bugging you until you tell me." She said with a chuckle. "But I promise, I won't do the same for you."
"Great."
"Aren't you going to tell me any details?" Alice curiously asked. "Not even the date?"
"Nope, it will all be a surprise." Tyler happily told her.
The girl playfully scoffed at his response. "You know, I'm starting to regret my promise, it might be hard to stay calm with someone like you."
