Arthur dragged me into New Look, saying we hadn't found the right outfit for me. Apparently, he had an outfit all sorted for the party. Something I would like very much, I was rather hoping it would be a Scouts uniform from Attack on Titan and that Arthur was cosplaying as Levi. What? It was a possibility, and I smiled at the thought of Arthur dressed as Levi. I think I'll lock that up somewhere no one can find it. "Arthur!" I called out, letting it sound jokey.

He stopped halfway up the stairs and looked at me, his face blank. I walked up to him and grabbed his hand, dragging him back down. "What are you doing? You still need something to wear." He protested, trying to drag me.

I stopped and kissed his cheek, making him blush. "Will you just trust me?"

Arthur smiled and put a hand on my cheek, nodding. "Besides," I continued, "We're going to be late." I pulled him back out the shop and down the street.

We walked hand in hand, like any couple. And it felt strange, usually we wouldn't come into town like this but I was making Arthur go to the cinema with me for my birthday. Of course, Arthur first objected because it wasn't just us who were going, a few other friends were tagging along as well. Just a few, Kacie, Steve, Izzy, Kassie, Fran and Janet. We were going to see the eagerly awaited Insurgent, the sequel to Divergent. I was really excited. Arthur huffed as we neared the cinema, "Do I really have to?" he asked.

I looked up at his face, smiling, "Yes, it's my birthday after all."

He huffed again, "Yeah, but couldn't we have just done something together, after the cinema? Just us?" he looked down at me, smiling back.

"We could." I replied, thinking about it.

What he had in mind didn't seem totally bad, but I feel selfish doing two things. "But you won't?" Arthur finished.

I nodded, my smile growing as I saw Kacie and Steve waiting outside the cinema. "Come on, you lazy shits!" Steve yelled at us, attracting the attention of passing people.

I laughed and ran ahead, leaving Arthur behind, "You can talk!" I joked, punching Steve lightly on the shoulder.

Arthur caught up then, opening the cinema door for us all. I smiled at him as we passed, waiting back for him. "If you loved me you wouldn't make me do this." He commented, grabbing my hand in his.

"And if you loved me you would deal with my friends for a few hours." I replied, poking him in the chest.

Arthur sighed, "Fine, but if they try anything I swear," he grabbed my waist with his hands and picked me up, making me giggle.

"Alright! Alright!" I surrendered, Arthur placed me back on the ground.

I hopped on a stool by the windows, reaching into my bag for the tickets. I thought I'd wait for everyone else to get here first. Fran and Janet came next, walking through the doors and spotting us immediately. Janet eyed Arthur suspiciously, I hadn't told her he was coming mainly because she didn't exactly like him all that much. But, she shrugged it off, her eyes passing over him like he wasn't even there. Izzy and Kassie arrived last, stepping in and walking over slowly, as if there was any surprise. I handed out the tickets randomly, making sure Arthur was sat next to me though. All hell would break lose if I didn't have him in my eye sight at all times. But other than that the layout went like this: Fran was on the end next to Steve, who was next to me and then Arthur, and beside him was Kacie then Kassie and finally Izzy. I probably should've made sure Kassie went next to Arthur not Kacie but then Izzy would feel left out so it would have to do. We went in pairs up to the counter, going to get popcorn and the like. "Urm," I stuttered, making my mind up, "A raspberry and cherry ice tango please." I ordered, leaning on the counter.
