Out of all the excitement of the past couple weeks this topped it all. All of it put together wouldn't even come close to how excited I was, no jokes. Kacie glanced over at me from her seat and I winked at her, she laughed. "This is way better than school." She commented.
"Except we got up too early!" Jasper groaned from beside her. I laughed and so did Kacie.
"We got up at 5 this morning so we could come down to London to catch a flight we had to wait this long for. It's nearly six." Tony added, looking at his watch. "I really am going to hate this whole time difference thing."
"You guys had better get used to it." I replied, they glared at me like 'don't make it worse'. "I was watching some Hobbit blogs and apparently the actors got up at like 4 in the morning to start filming. It is going to be a Peter Jackson movie."
"Shush Gwen, let us enjoy the few days we actually have to sleep." Jasper shushed me.
"You're only there for a couple days, you can't talk." Kacie interrupted. Jasper glared at her and she smiled. Then she turned to me. "And you didn't come with Alex and I the other day."
I made a halo gesture with my hand and put my best smile on, she just looked disapprovingly at me. "Child." She muttered. I laughed.
I dropped my head back in the seat, puffed my cheeks out and closed my eyes. "Hey, at least we aren't on a boat." Tony joked, I groaned.
"Don't even say that to me. Ever since I watched Titanic I haven't even been able to go near the pond in our garden." I replied.
"Yes, but we could still plummet to our death if the engines stopped working." Jasper added. Kacie and I both looked at him. "Just trying to diffuse the tension."
"Way to go, make us feel like we're gonna die." Kacie mocked enthusiasm and put her thumbs up. Jasper smirked at her. I laughed again, this was going to be so much fun.
"Hey, just think, we're all going to meet Benedict Cumberbatch!" I tried to cheer everyone up. Jasper looked disappointed.
"You guys are." He mumbled disappointedly. I made an overly enthusiastic sad face.
"Aww, didums." I mumbled. "Is itle witle wabbit feeling sad."
"Oh come on, seriously, I wanted to meet him! Those cheekbones I mean wow!" he joked. We all laughed.
"I know right!" Tony piped up, "Who wouldn't want to get a glimpse of those!" we all laughed again as the flight attendant came down the aisle checking seat belts and various other things.
She smiled at our little group and stopped, "Do you have an adult with you?" she asked.
"What? Do we look twelve or something?" I remarked. I got this a lot because I was short for my age.
"No, it's just..." she couldn't find the right words. That's when John held his hand up in the seat in front of us. "Is he with you?"
"Unfortunately." Kacie replied.
"Yes, he looks like an adult." I added. "But he's just a big kid!" I said the last bit louder so he heard. John just did a thumbs up and the flight attendant smiled again.
"Alright then, enjoy the flight." She finished and moved on, John put his hand down. After she had gone we all burst out laughing.
"Are you going to be doing that a lot?" a dude in front of Kacie and jasper asked. You see they were in the column of seats next to Tony and I. "It's just it is a twelve hour flight." He turned around and got back to his... whatever it was he was doing.
