And then I woke up.

My whole body was covered with a fine layer of sweat and I held back the urge to scream. I remembered the two authors telling me that my book was being dissed by the media; Course forty bloody two and then coming home, the rest was... unreal. I didn't remember what I did when I got home or ever going to sleep.

I swung my legs over the side of my bed and put my head in my hands. Did I just dream my... my death?  The idea shook me to the core and I stood up shaking my hands. I opened my door and headed into the bathroom, it was cold in there and I felt like the sweat was turning into condensation. I was going to splash cold water over my face but just standing in there made me cooler.

I headed back to my room but noticed a light on downstairs, curious. My brain was telling me to go back to bed but my gut was telling me to check it out. I ended up standing on the landing one foot facing my room the other facing the stairs. Finally, logic gave out and my natural curiosity took control. Silently, I placed one foot in front of the other going down the stairs and reached the bottom slowly. The light came from the lounge and by now I could hear voices, probably just someone on the TV. I shrugged it off and walked back upstairs, no point getting myself in trouble.

My bed felt weird as I climbed back in, sort of like it was brand new. I dismissed the thought and shut my eyes, too tired for thinking. Sleep came again and I dreamt of normality, but who needs normality really?

So. Here we are. Book Two. I never thought I'd actually be here. Ah well, thoughts change with time. I know, big shock, she's alive. Big shock I mean, I made someone cry for nothing. Yes, you know who you are Fabling. So I hope you enjoy LaH mark two. I know the book is called Wishful Thinking but it will always be LaH mark two to me, so you know what I mean when I say it. Keep reading! OH YEAH!
