The cool air blew into Minhyuk's sweaty neck, causing a chill to run down his spine. He let his gaze wander over the Safezone group that had survived the attack. There really weren't many people among them, but far more than could have been counted on two hands. They had stopped at a street corner because the long walk had taken its toll on some people, especially the injured.

Finally, Minhyuk let his gaze wander and spotted a small supermarket not too far away whose windows had already been smashed.

Probably robbed by purgers, the store didn't seem to have much left to offer. Minhyuk wanted to check, and Xiumin seemed to have had a similar thought, for he approached the younger man, adjusted his jacket with both hands, and nodded toward the supermarket.

"We should go see if we might find something useful," Xiumin said to Minhyuk.

Minhyuk looked at the supermarket again, weighing all the possibilities in his mind before giving his boss a concrete answer, "In any case, we need some provisions. Water for the people, because we've been on the road for a long time and the people there hardly have any strength left."

The police chief nodded, followed his pupil's gaze and looked at the exhausted pack of people who were just panting and sighing due to the march. The people he was trying to protect seemed in desperate need of a liquid, at least water, and he was trying everything he could to help them. Pree and Momo, who had been listening to the conversation, also wanted to accompany the two policemen on this little booty hunt. They also had the crucial argument that four of them could carry much more than if they went off in just two.

Meanwhile, Lisa stayed behind with the small cluster of people, having turned down the offer to join them, meaning that she preferred to help some of the older ones rest on the curb of the street.

Lisa promised to call to them if danger approached.

The store seemed almost empty, and yet it was the only way to get something useful. The police team did not want to rob any other store. They were only using it to survive.

They had to get people safely to their destination. Thus, they also needed some new resources so that the others could still manage some steps.

"We passed by it before, but we didn't get a great look inside," Pree told the two officers once they stepped through the broken doorway.

"It was all so trashed, we didn't think there was much left," Momo commented, accompanying Xiumin to the right shelf and helping him pull down some items from the top corner.
