Bitter sobs filled the waiting room.

Mrs. Choi was devastated after the fact that her son had not answered his cell phone, and thus worry grew inside her. She could not suppress it because the feeling that her boy was in danger burned a hole in her heart. The pain was hard to put into words. Even though Lien was still with her, offering the woman a comforting shoulder, her sadness was unstoppable. There was no soothing the suffering of a worried mother.

"I can take you back to the sick room, if you want, of course ..." suggested Lien, offering her another handkerchief, which the elder woman accepted gratefully.

She could see from the woman's face that she was not in good health either. Sweat was dripping from her forehead and her burning hot cheeks also indicated a fever. It was possible that the patient might keel over if she did not rest. Moreover, the pregnant woman was aware of the elderly woman's condition, so she urgently needed to take Ms. Choi back to her room. Besides, Lien feared that she would spend that night sleepless anyway and helped the sickly woman to her feet. Her slender, bony fingers of both her hands still helplessly clutched the cell phone she had borrowed from Lien, as if this electronic object were her last resort and the last attempt to reach her son after all.

With slow, deliberate steps, Lien took her back to her hospital room, which, fortunately for her, was on the same floor.

The looks of the others still bored uncomfortably into their backs, but Lien wanted to help and that's what she would do!

"There it is," the young secretary murmured when she saw the number of the room the woman had told her earlier.

However, as Lien was about to reach for the door handle to take the patient to her bed, they both suddenly heard loud screams. Fear-filled screams that ran up Lien's spine like goose bumps and made her wince. Jerking, the pregnant woman glanced over her shoulder and spotted an excited Minji running toward them. The horrified expression on her face didn't bode well, and the sweat of fear was also evident.

"Run! Laauuuft!" shouted Minji to the two, who were standing in front of the door, completely confused.

"What's wrong?" immediately shot out of Lien, who was still holding Ms. Choi in her arms to help her walk. The latter didn't even know what happened to her, the only support she found was Soobin's companion and the elder trusted her. However, Minji ran toward the two women with long strides, gasping for breath, and grabbed Lien by the arm, pulling her along, causing both Lien and the patient to lose their footing.

While Lien was still able to catch her balance and free herself from the nurse, Ms. Choi was thrown to the ground. A painful groan left her mouth and the cell phone, which she had still been holding convulsively in her hands, skidded a few feet across the floor.
