I wake up to the sound of my alarm, I feel well-rested despite the events of yesterday. I leap out of bed, excited to start the day, and head for a quick shower. I woke up an hour and a half before I have to be at the shooting range so I can enjoy my morning shower. The water is warm and cozy it almost makes me miss my bed. Once I have finished my shower, and get dressed and head to the kitchen to get something to eat. As I walk in I'm greeted by Alejandro.

"Good morning bonita, would you like some eggs?"

"That'd be wonderful. Thank you, Alejandro." I say sitting at the island smiling at him.

"You nervous for today?" He asks peaking around his shoulder. I chuckle.

"For training? No. To see who I'm training with, a little bit." He laughs.

"Oh mi amor, it won't be that bad." He says continuing to cook the eggs. For the next couple of minutes, I sit in silence listening to him hum. Once the eggs are completely done he scoops them onto two individual plates, handing one to me. I hadn't noticed how hungry I was until the smell hit me, my stomach has never tightened this much.

"May I?" He asks pointing to the chair next to me.

"Of course." I say scooting over to make more room for him.

"I heard you're paired with Ghost." His voice is raspy, making his accent even sexier.

"That'll be fun." I say in a sarcastic tone.

"Soap told me what had happened last night. He didn't touch you at all right?" I look over to him, surprised I was yet again, getting asked this question. I shake my head.

"No." I pause swallowing. "He didn't touch me." I take another bite of the eggs he had made for us. They were amazing, perfectly seasoned scrambled eggs. As we eat we talk about our previous training, along with our strengths, and weaknesses on the battlefield."

"You're not good with knives?" He says in shock.

"No, I am. I just get in my head is all." I chuckle. He nods his head.

"We've got plenty of people that would be happy to help you become more comfortable, mi amor." He says giving me a smile. He stands up, taking both our now empty plates and sets them in the sink. "We better get going before we're late." I agree and together we walk to the shooting range.

"You're late." Ghost grumbles as we walk to the range. I check my phone seeing it was exactly 7:30.

"Ghost. We're here on time, it's literally 7:30 on the dot." I say, already annoyed.

"If you're not here early, you're late." His low voice growled. Okay, I swear to God this man is bipolar.

"Have fun mi amor. Try not to get him riled up." Alejandro says while softly touching my arm. I can feel Ghost's gaze on me, so I quickly turn to see him staring directly at me. I've seen this look before, with the red eyes. I still can't make out what emotion lies behind the mask. Alejandro must have noticed too because he quickly takes his hand off my arm, and nods at Ghost as he walks away. 'Take me with you' is all I could think to myself. I wasn't sure how I felt about Ghost yet, and I didn't want to make him feel like I was incapable of anything.

"Show me what you've got." Ghost says handing me a pistol. I take it in my hand and start pointing at my first target, I click the safety off, and within seconds I've hit all 4 targets right in the middle. I look over to Ghost who is standing to my right. He's just standing there staring at the targets as if he's shocked. I smirk feeling like a boss bitch for making Ghost react like this.
